Memory lane.

Madeline's pov:
I woke up the next morning to Lennon in a little bed beside Mine and Liam standing on a chair to reach up to the hospital window to have a cigarette, "oi" I spoke which startled Liam and he got so scared so he yelped a little like a girl making me laugh a lung out, "don't do that Sally" he spoke with a chuckle throwing the cigarette out the window, "your mam dropped these in at the front desk said to give it to ya" Liam spoke handing me a brown envelope "oh alright" I replied as I opened it, there was a letter and a collection of photos, "oh god I might cry" I warned Liam making him laugh "go on then read it" he rushed me "alright" I spoke before reading the letter that said,

"Dearest maddie,
It's your mummy, I'm so proud of you and I'm so sorry me and Anna can't be there I know we've been in Spain for a week now but we should be home tomorrow night so we'll see you soon!!
Words can't describe how much I love you my little woman, your beautiful and amazing and I can't wait to see you and your little family,

Lots of love for you my Sally cinnamon,
Mum xx"

"Ain't that cute" Liam awed in a whisper due to our sleeping child, "yeah let's look at these photos.." I spoke taking the photos out,

"Our anna looks more like you every day"

As I looked at the photo of Anna my heart throbbed, she was getting so grown up she's so beautiful,

"Ethan getting anna to say mumma"

I smiled at the photo of my siblings, Ethan really hasn't changed I miss him so much, I felt tears welling in my eyes slightly,

"Me and my Sally our first night home"

My god the tears were flowing, "you alright?" Liam spoke wrapping his arm around me "yeah love just emotional.." I chuckled,

"Me and your dad the night of our first date when we were just 18..reminds me of you and li"

"Oh Liam.." I cried dropping the photo onto my lap and placing my head in the crook of his neck, "it's okay maddie I love ya" he told me, no matter how much he says it which is all the time it still feels like the first time all over again, I still feel electricity through my veins and my heart pounding,

The pictures remind me of my bittersweet childhood, it reminds me of the good and the bad, it makes me emotional looking at things like this, "oi mads there's one more" Liam spoke taking a photo outve the envelope,

"Never told you but molly took this photo at the oasis show when you reunited with Liam.."

A smile grew on my face remembering the night, the way he held me, I love Liam and I always have, Molly the bitch can't help herself when she has a camera, "we should frame it" Liam spoke from beside me, "yeah we should" I told him smiling to myself "hey mads.." he asked for me "yeah?" I turned to him "that wasn't the first time I knew I loved ya the day after that..." he started leaving me confused "I knew I loved ya that morning in hospital when we were kids" he spoke but I wasn't catching on "the night we brought ya in it was family only which I usually understood that but something was telling me to argue with everyone until they let me in...seeing them push you down a hall on a hospital bed trying to keep ya alive I knew then in the moment they hooked ya on that breathing machine...I knew when my heart was beating in my throat from nerves the tears that formed in my eyes seeing ya get taken away I knew I loved ya because when I seen ya after they pumped your stomach and I seen ya in the bed when I layed my head on ya...I knew that I love you for real it was real and true..." he spoke the tears formed and I took him into my chest and hugged him "I loved you when we layed in my bed and fell asleep in eachothers arms I admired your face and every feature seemed perfect because it is.." I spoke back to him, Liam popped his shoes off and climbed in the hospital bed beside me and we closed our eyes about to go to sleep but we were interrupted by a crying lennon, "oh baby what's wrong??" I cooed sitting up to reach over to get Lennon, I placed him on my chest and kept him there soothing him but I think he was hungry, me and Liam figured out the pumps last night and let's just say there was a bit of a bicker when Liam referred me to being like a cow, "li pass me a bottle outve that thingy" I asked Liam nicely "okay" he replied getting it and handing it to me, I fed lennon and he fell asleep again, lennon was a quiet baby and we didn't mind at all.
