Carlos frowned as Abby and Kristina sat with him at lunch; he really wanted to be admiring Evie right now.
Ever since the VKs came to Auradon prep, they became immensely popular amongst other students, being seen as the coolest kids in school.
Carlos on the other hand, while he loved his friends, was a little shy and the baby of their friend group, being 2 years younger than Evie, Mal, and Jay. He only wanted the popularity if he was together with those 3. Being by himself just made it insufferable and nerve-wracking.
"So Carlos, who are you taking to prom?" Abby asks excitedly.
"Come on, you can tell us!" Kristina says. "It's totally me, right?"
"U-Um, that's..." He says nervously, not making eye contact with either of the girls. His gaze wanders to the blue haired princess who is glaring in his direction. When their eyes meet, she looks away and acts as if she wasn't staring.
He can't help but wonder if she feels the same way he does... no, she never would. Evie is so beautiful, popular, talented, graceful, flirty, and sassy. Why would she waste her time on a shy, slightly dorky and innocent guy like him?
