Author's POV

Ibrahim was in his office, busy checking the last-minute things for the presentation. The client was a London-based businessman who wanted to expand his hotel business in the Indian market. But the client first wants to invest in some groups of companies and get familiar with the way things work here before starting his own. As the Haideri Group of Hotels is a big brand, what could be better than merging with them?

As for Ibrahim, merging with Mehta means expanding his business internationally. Now you ask how? Well, if this project goes well and the client, Mr Mehta, is impressed with this, then the whole business world will get the biggest consolidation of the year.

This project was very important for Ibrahim as the Haideri would not only dominate the Indian market but also get a secure hold on the global arena.

He was winding up the documents when he got a call on his cellphone. He picked up the phone and smiled seeing the caller ID. He had missed her for so long but was not able to call her because of work now that she called, a grin appeared on his face.

He put aside the documents, closed the laptop before answering the call, and relaxed on his chair. "You will never call me na if I don't call, Ha?" Comes the angry voice from the other side.

" You know me so well," Ibrahim teased.

"Bhai!!" She gasped making him chuckle. "You are so bad, I'm not talking to you, bye," She blew up in annoyance and cut the call.

The call got disconnected, and Ibrahim sat up in a jerk and looked at his mobile. "Did she cut the call?"

He hurriedly called back, "What?" He sighed, hearing her voice; he thought she would not pick up his call in anger. "I was joking, baccha; why did you cut the call," He gently persuaded her." Then why did you never call me in two weeks?" She argues making him smile.

"I'm sorry, I was busy with the current project, sweetheart; you will not forgive your favourite brother," he tried to pacify her.

"Fine," she muttered and he sighed in relief. " But I have a condition," he furrows his eyebrows, "Next time when I visit India, you’ll need to take a full week off and spend all that time with me," she demanded. " And no negotiating time," she further added.

"Business ran in our blood it seems," he whispered sarcastically." Did you say something Bhai? She asked from the other side in a warning tone.

"No baccha and I'll definitely take an off next time when you come," He said, making her giggle." Then start clearing your schedule from today, Bhai, because I'm coming in two weeks," she laughed, tricking her brother.

" What? You are coming in next week? But how? And did Chachu agree to this? You are not coming alone here, ok I need to talk to Chachu-," he started panicking, "Arre Bhai, calm down; I’m not coming by myself; the whole family will be joining me in India in two weeks." She explained making him more confused.

"Is there a specific reason for your sudden visit to India? Ibrahim frowns as he knows his chachu and her family don't come in the middle of the year just like that. They moved to London a few years ago due to business, yet they made it a point to return during Alizey's summer or winter breaks. However, with no break currently in session, their unexpected visit raises questions. There could only be two possible reasons for their sudden arrival: either there's an urgent family emergency, or Amir's wedding has been finalized. Because he was the main topic for quite a time in all his family gatherings. He hopes the latter one is the main reason behind this visit.

"There is a very big reason for us to return, Bhai. Amir Bhai's wedding date has been finalized, and the wedding is in  two months." She told him, excitement was visible in her tone.
