Chapter 6

Tori's POV:

Jade pressed her lips to mine and kissed me. I panic at first but immediately return the favour, taking in every moment.

She pulled away and looked at me "uh, I'm sorry... I'm gonna go shower now" she said getting up quickly, not giving me enough time to even form a thought. "Yeah" i whisper to myself, "me too.."

I got up and headed into one of the showering stalls, my mind racing. Why did she kiss me? Does she like me back? If she did she wouldn't have ran away. Clearly it was a mistake.

I hear Jades shower turn off and her run out of the shower room and into the changer room, as if she was making sure she got out before me so she didn't have to talk to me.

Well, that sucks.

I quickly wash my hair and body and get out of the shower.

"Jade?" I call out as i open the door to the changing rooms. No sign of her, she vanished. So she's playing the avoiding game. Alright.

I quickly changed and headed out back to the campsite when i realize everyone had already left, including Jade. What the, excuse my language, actual fuck? Why would they all leave me here? How did no one notice i was gone... and most Importantly, how could Jade abandon me after what happened? That's cold, even for her.

I find a near by log and sit down, pulling out my phone.

No service, great.

So now I'm trapped out here, alone, with no service and a lousy bag of marshmallows that they left behind.

It wasn't long before a car pulled up with their high beams on, practically blinding me.

"Hello?" I call out, my chest starting to rise with panic.

"Sorry i freaked out back there." The voice speaks, and i immediately relax.

Jade.

"How could you leave me out here?!" I yell at her. I have every right to be angry. I would not have done that to her. "Relax, Vega. You were only alone for like an hour. It's not like i was gonna abandon you out here." She says in an annoyed bored tone.

I've never really lost my temper on Jade before, usually out of fear she might chop my head off, but i don't care. This is the second time she's done this to me. Disappeared.

"Do. Not. Tell. Me. To. Relax! It wouldn't matter if it was 5 goddamn minutes, Jade! You still left. This is the second time you've just disappeared on me without saying anything! Learn how to talk about all your feelings and all your fucking problems instead of running away from them! Look, if we're going to be friends, you're gonna have to stop disappearing on me. Because i don't know if i can do this a 3rd time." I say in a harsh tone and she looks taken aback by my outburst.

"Do u wanna drive home or not?" She says blankly, completely unaffected. Did she just... completely dismiss that whole thing? Seriously?

"Yeah, sure, fine, whatever." I say quickly, walking over to the passenger side door and slamming it shut as i enter. "Don't be immature, Vega. Do not slam my car door." She says sternly.

"Or what?" I challenge her.

"Or I'll leave you here to rot." She says through gritted teeth.

Wow. Okay.

"Alright." I say quietly, thumping back into my seat and looking out the window.

This is gonna be a long drive.

It was a mistake to ever think about letting Vega close to me. I knew it was a bad idea but i let Beck get in my head anyway.
