(A/N):

After a few days at school...

It was lunchtime and Mira sat quietly, eating her meal. But soon, three students joined her table - two boys and a girl. They started chatting with Mira, their conversation was light and friendly as if they were forming a genuine connection. Mira, feeling a rare sense of comfort, offered them some of her lunch.

Little did she know that Ethan was watching her the entire time, his eyes narrowing with each passing second. Fury blazed within him, his rage simmering just beneath the surface as he observed the scene unfold before him.

Ethan's POV:

The sight of Mira laughing and sharing her lunch with those boys made my blood boil.

Every smile she offered, every word she exchanged with them felt like a betrayal and a knife twisting in my chest.

How could she be so close to them? I watched them from afar, my hands clenching into fists, feeling the rage simmering just below the surface.

They didn't deserve her attention. None of them did. Mira was mine whether she knew it or not.

I followed her and waited until she was alone. She was walking down the hallway completely oblivious to my presence.

I moved in closing the distance between us. The moment she felt my touch, her entire body tensed and she turned to face me, her eyes wide with fear and confusion.

"Mira," I whispered, my voice low as I let my hand slide over her arm, feeling the soft fabric of her blouse beneath my fingers. "Why do you keep doing this? Why do you keep letting them get close to you?"

She pulled back, trying to distance herself from me but I wouldn't let her.

I tightened my grip, my hand now resting on her waist, pulling her closer. Her fear only made me want her more.

"Let go of me, Ethan," she demanded, her voice shaky but firm. She looked up at me, her eyes filled with defiance.

I smirked, leaning in closer, my breath hot against her ear. "You belong to me, Mira. You know that, don't you?"

Her response was swift and unexpected.

The sound of the slap echoed through the empty corridor and for a moment, I was stunned.

She had actually hit me. I could see the fear in her eyes but she didn't back down.

"STAY AWAY FROM ME!!!!" she yelled, her voice trembling with both fear and anger. "If you don't, I'll report you to the school authorities. I'm not afraid of you, Ethan."

Her words hit me harder than the slap but instead of deterring me, they only fueled the dark obsession that had taken root in my heart.

She wanted to fight back? Fine. I'll make sure she regret it.

As she stormed off, her back rigid with anger and fear, I knew what I had to do. If she wanted to play games, I would show her just how dangerous they could be.

(A/N):

The next few days were a blur of whispered conversations and suspicious glances.

The rumour spread like wildfire through the school. "Mira Davis, the desperate girl who couldn't handle rejection."

Ethan had subtly planted the seed of doubt and it grew into a monstrous lie that no one questioned.
