Deciding To Have A Conversation

Kenneth Taylor was extremely protective of those he loved and held dearly to his heart. His daughter Raeliana was no exception,he loved her more than anything in the whole world. She was his princess,his baby girl,his world. And there were some things that he didn't want her to know and what occurred on June 19,2012 was something that he didn't want her to know. It wasn't because he thought she wasn't old enough to know. It was simply because he didn't know how Raeliana would react to knowing the reason why her mother wasn't in their lives and hasn't been in their lives for approximately 11 years now. How would Rae react to knowing the reason why her mother wasn't in their lives and hasn't been in their lives for 11 years now? What would happen if father told daughter what happened 11 years ago on June 19,2012,the night that he and her mother had divorced and he had full custody of her? She would be happy to finally know the reason why but what other feelings would the 16 year old girl experience from knowing the reason? He has raised Rae on his own for approximately 11 years now and things had been perfect for the father and daughter. But he also understood that it wasn't necessarily a good thing to refuse to tell her the reason why, obviously he waited until she was in her teen years and yet he refused to tell her the reason why her mother wasn't in their lives and hasn't been in their lives since she was only 5 years old,11 years now. He understands that now that she's 16 years old now he should tell her but he doesn't know how she's going to react to knowing the reason why. He hates making his daughter upset in any way but he thinks not telling her the reason why is necessary despite knowing that it's probably not. She should know the reason why because it involves her mother and it obviously altered her life because she's grown up as a child of divorced parents. Kenneth knew that his daughter will learn the reason why but he is only refusing to tell her because he doesn't know how she'd react. How  Rae will react to knowing the reason why is a mystery, unknown. Which is why Kenneth is reluctant to answer her questioning about it. Without a doubt would Rae know the reason why her mother whoever it is wasn't in their lives and hasn't been since June 19,2012,when she was 5. The day that Raeliana comes to know the reason why her mother wasn't in their lives and hasn't been since she was 5 years old was a day that her father was dreading because he didn't know how she was going to react to knowing. He decides he and his daughter needed to have a conversation. He decides to have a conversation with her immediately.
