Layla entered the party and every gaze fell on her. The most beautiful girl of the party is here. Layla moved forward confidently and flipped her hair as she strode towards her friend who engulfed her in a hug."I didn't expect you to be here. But I am happy that you are here with us." Her friend aka the host of the party, Eliza smiled at her and passed her the wine to which she respectfully declined.
"I guess the plan was quite spontaneous. I didn't get a time to get ready properly. And it's been so long and over due." Layla smiled and took the fruit punch mocktail from the tray.
"Layla. Meet my friend, Reyhan Azim. He is the running a very successful business venture." she introduced him to the guy and layla smiled politely.
"I have heard a lot about you." He smiled and a dimple popped in.
"I hope you have heard all the good things about me." Layla smiled and he chuckled.
Eliza smile and left both of them alone. They were sitting on the couch while talking to each other. He was the most wanted bachelor. The most handsome person in the room who is a millionaire yet she couldn't feel a spark. He seems ordinary to her.
Faris was driving a car on the empty road when he notice that a security guard had called him thrice. His phone was on silent mode.
"Sir, Madam ghar par nahi hai." His voice was filled with tension.
"Kaha gayi hai wo?" He shouted so loudly that the veins in his neck popped out.
"Nahi pata. Par wo bohot tayyar hoke kahi gayi hai." And every puzzled was solved. He ended the call and trace her phone but it was not reachable. She definitely switched it off. Then he traced her car. She was unaware that he had adjusted the location tracer on her car.
Faris was sweating profousely. All kind of horror ran in his mind and his heart sank. The location was an hour away. It was away from the main city. And then without a second thought, he drove to the location.
Layla anxiously rubbed her sweaty palms. She was anxious the whole time. It's been years since she attended the party like this. Reyhan sense her discomfort and calmly placed his hands over her in an assuring way. Layla was shocked and she pulled her hands away.
"Are you okay?"
"It's kind of suffocating."
"Lawn main chale. Waha aapko behtar feel hoga." layla nodded her head at his words.
The lawn was beautiful. It was decorated with fairy lights and lamps. There was a bench in the middle of the lawn and both of them sat on it.
"Bohot khoobsurat hai aap, layla."
"Jee. Shukriya." Layla forced a smile.
"Aap hamesha itna hi chup rahti hai ya sirf aaj hai."
"Nahi. Bass aise hi. Yaha par main zyada log ko nahi jaanti na."
"Main hoon na. Aap mujhe jaanne ki koshish tou kariye." He look at her with a pleading gaze in his eyes and she shook her head lightly.
"Maine aapke baare mai bohot suna hai. Impressed would be an understatement. You amazed me a lot, Layla Hussain." He smiled and put his hands near her hands.
"Accha." Layla felt more anxious by each passing seconds and she replied dryly.
She suddenly regret coming here. Her heart was thumping loudly when he pulled her by her arms. He looked into her eyes and caressed her hair. She was oblivious to the extent that she didn't noticed that faces were so close to each other.
