As soon as they reached the hospital corridor, her gaze fell on the fake junayd who gave her the shippish smile. Layla glared at him as she folded her hands over her chest."Maaf kar dein, bhabhi. Junayd ne kaha tha warna mai kabhi nahi karta."
"Aap unn ke kahne par meri beizzati kar rahe the. Mujhe ehsaas dilaa rahe the main bohot selfish hoon. Main aapko kabhi maaf nahi karungi. Aap aur aap ke dost dono ek jaise hai." Layla snapped at him and he scratched the back of his neck in nervousness.
"Junayd ko tou maaf kar dijiye. Mohabbat aur jung mai sab jaayez hai." He tried to persuade her.
"Main unka qatal na kar du phir. Aakhir sab jaayez hai." Layla angrily stomped her feet and made her way to the hospital room.
Junayd came from behind her and looked at him with confused gaze.
"Kya kah rahi thi?"
"Tera qatal karne ki baatein kar rahi thi." Junayd rolled his eyes at her words.
"Madam sahi se biwi nahi bani ab tak aur bewah hone ka shouk hai." Junayd shook his head and look at her retreating figure in disappointment.
"Thoda easy ho jau yar. Bhabhi ke liye yeh sab aasan nahi hai. Uncle ki tabiyat thik nahi hai. Aur phir tumhara raaz uske saamne achanak se aa gaya. Aur phir ye achanak wala nikah. Thoda space do." Azlan tried to make him understand.
"Tou kya mere liye aasan hai?" Junayd snapped.
"Wahi tou kah raha hoon. Ek dusro ko samjho aur apni zindagi acche se guzaaro." He patted his shoulder and he jerked his hands off.
"Choddo yaar. Mujhse nahi hoga. Bohot guroor hai teri bhabhi mai. Har waqt zidd main rahti hai."
"Banda zidd bhi wahi dikhata hai jaha usse maan hota hai ke saamne wala insaan uski zidd puri karega."
Junayd gaze fell on the doctor as he was coming towards him.
"Ms. Layla aapki kya lagti hai?" He raised his eyebrows.
"It's mrs. layla. And she is my wife."
"I want to talk to both of you regarding something. Please come with her in my office."
Few minutes later, they both were sitting in the doctor office. The doctor looks at them with concern.
"I have checked his reports. But he is fine for now. See, he's in his 70s. He needs a lot of attention and care. He needs a health check up every week. I have talked with Dr. Azlan and I know that he is the physiotherapist of your grandfather. Do you live with him or he stay alone?"
"I live in Islamabad as I have my home and job there." Layla replied in a low voice.
"You need to sort out your priorities. He needs his family. He is diabetic and he also has serious heart conditions. You need to leave everything and give your sole attention towards him."
"We will manage something." Junayd replied.
"Sure, Mr Junayd. He will be discharged by tomorrow but he will be under supervision. You need to hire a nurse for him. Also, he will have take to bed rest for at-least a month." Layla hesitantly nodded her head. Her hands were shaking the whole time. Her heart skipped a beat when he put his hands on her in an assuring way.
After they came out of the doctor office, she stared at him. Junayd raised his eyebrows and she slightly shook her head.
They were sitting in the room. Junayd was busy in his call while she was sitting on the stool beside her grandfather.
