Chapter 8

"Nevermind papa I cold" juin stuck his lip out in a cute pout. Ah, now Joshua understood. If Juin was saying it was the opposite of a flame getting stronger, then it meant that he felt like it was more like a candle that was burning out, getting weaker and weaker.

Seeing the cute pout on Juin’s lip, he chuckled softly and ruffled his hair gently. He spoke up, his tone gentle and warm.

“Alright, if you’re feeling cold then let’s dry you up and get you into some nice, warm clothes, hm?”

Seongwoo didn't understand what was going on and Just looked at them with big eyes

With Juin's response, Joshua stood up from his seat and began to prepare some clean, fluffy towels for the kids to dry off. He could see Seongwoo sitting quietly, not fully understanding the conversation, but just watching with big, innocent eyes. He couldn't help but find it endearing.

Once the towels were prepared, he turned towards the tub and held them out to Juin and Seongwoo.

“Come on, kiddos, let’s get you both wrapped up and warm,” He said with a soft smile, waiting for them to get out of the tub.

Juin and Seongwoo both looked at the towels and then at each other for a moment, before slowly getting up and stepping out of the tub. They both looked up at Joshua expectantly, waiting for him to start drying them off.

Seeing the kids out of the tub and waiting for him, Joshua chuckled softly and began to gently dry them off with the towels.

He first started with Seongwoo, wrapping the towel around him and rubbing him softly, making sure not to be too rough on the little boy’s delicate skin.

Once he was done with Seongwoo, he moved on to Juin, giving him the same gentle treatment with the towel. He ruffled Juin's hair as he dried him off, making sure to be extra gentle around the kid’s face and sensitive areas.

After drying off both Juin and Seongwoo, he spoke up, his tone friendly and warm.

“There you go, all dry and warm now,” He said, a small smile on his face. He then tossed the towels aside and knelt down in front of them, making himself eye-level with the kids.

“Now, let’s get you dressed in some comfy clothes, alright?” He added, his tone cheerful but caring. He waited a moment for their response, giving them the opportunity to speak up if they had any requests or concerns.

Juin and Seongwoo both nodded eagerly at the mention of getting dressed. They both knew that it wasn’t much fun being naked, and the thought of putting on cozy, soft clothes sounded appealing.

"Is daddy come home soon?"Juin asked.
When Juin asked about when their daddy would be coming home, Joshua paused for a moment, his smile faltering just a bit.

He thought it through before responding, trying to be honest yet gentle.

“Ah, Juin, your daddy will be home soon,” he said, his tone warm yet soothing. “He’s just a bit busy with work right now, but he’ll be back before you know it.”

"Da-dy!!" Seongwoo said happily. Joshua turned his gaze towards Seongwoo as he heard the little boy exclaim “Daddy” cheerfully. His heart melted a bit at how adorably excited Seongwoo was about the idea of their daddy returning home soon.

He chuckled softly and ruffled Seongwoo’s hair affectionately, his eyes filled with warmth.

“Yes, Seongwoo. Your daddy is coming home soon. He probably misses you two little rascals a lot, just like you miss him.”

Hearing his words, both Juin and Seongwoo gave him a bright smile, their eyes lit up with joy at the thought of their daddy's return. It was clear that they really loved and missed their father, and they were ecstatic at the prospect of seeing him again soon.
