"So, what are we now?"

The question hung in the air between them, unspoken yet palpable.

Hiromi stared at the chalkboard, the math equations swimming before his eyes. The classroom was a blur of whispers and rustling papers, a stark contrast to the silent conversation in his head. Akito sat next to him, casually doodling in the margin of his notebook, unaware of the turmoil brewing in his friend's thoughts, or are they even friends.Days had passed since that fateful spin the bottle game, and the sex and dates and the memory of Akito's lips on his had become a constant background to every moment of Hiromi's life.

It was like a secret melody that played whenever he was near Akito, a silent pattern of confusion and longing.

They would wake up every morning, share a quick breakfast, and walk to school together, their shoulders brushing in a silent dance of unspoken understanding. At school, they'd sit side by side, sharing lunches and glances, their laughter echoing down the hallways as if they were the only two people who knew the punchline to an inside joke that never ended.

Yet, as the days turned into weeks, the unspoken tension grew. It was like a tightrope they both balanced on, each step more precarious than the last. Every time their hands grazed against each other, the electricity was undeniable, leaving goosebumps in its wake. Their friendship had become something more, something richer, something that neither of them could quite put into words. It was a silent agreement, a tacit understanding that filled the space between them like a warm blanket on a cold night. The whispers grew louder in the halls, the glances from their classmates more knowing. The air was thick with speculation, but they remained steadfast in their silent routine. It was as if the whole school was watching them, waiting for the moment when they would finally acknowledge the shift in their relationship status. But they remained tight-lipped, their smiles enigmatic, their eyes speaking volumes that only they could understand. The final bell of the day rang out, signaling the end of another school day. The students erupted into a flurry of movement, books and bags slammed shut, chairs scraped against the floor.

But Hiromi remained seated, his heart racing as he gathered the courage to finally break the silence. He turned to Akito, his voice shaking slightly as he said, "Hey, can you come with me to the bathroom?" Akito looked up, his eyes meeting Hiromi's with a flicker of curiosity, and nodded. The bathroom was empty, the echoes of their footsteps bouncing off the tiles as they stepped inside.

Hiromi and hold Akitos hands in the hallway with no one there.

Hiromi leaned against the sink, taking a deep breath before speaking again.

"What are we now?" he asked, his voice echoing off the walls.

Akito's eyes danced with amusement as he approached, a teasing smile playing on his lips. "What do you think we are?" he replied, his voice low and playful. "Aren't we..." He let the words hang, a question that didn't need an answer.

Hiromi's heart skipped a beat as he turned and looked away from Akito while being flustered closing the gap between them, his playful smirk growing into a full-blown grin. The tension in the bathroom was thick enough to cut with a knife, the sound of the running faucet a distant white noise to the thundering of his pulse in his ears. Akito's hand reached out, grabbing his chin gently and tilting his head up and grabbing his waist close to his, forcing their gazes to lock. "What do you think we are?" He had asked again with his voice warm as a whisper, his breath tickling Hiromi's cheek, rubbing his long cock onto his. "A- aren't we..." He leaned closer, the space between them shrinking until their noses were almost touching.

Hiromi's mind raced, his thoughts tangling together like a bowl of spaghetti. "We're..." He paused, searching for the right words. "We're...lovers?" The word felt strange on his tongue, but as soon as it was out, it felt right, like a puzzle piece finally sliding into place. Akito's smile grew, his eyes lighting up with something that looked suspiciously like victory. "Is that what you want us to be?" Akito's thumb traced a line along Hiromi's jaw, sending shivers down his spine knowing that they were already a thing. "Because if it is," Akito continued, "I'm all in." His voice was a warm caress, leaving no room for doubt or hesitation.

(Author)-Okay at this point you are scaring the poor baby, lol stop teasing him Akito!.

The world outside the bathroom stall faded away, leaving only the two of them in their own little universe.

"Yeah, I- I really do" Hiromi breathed, his voice barely above a whisper. "T-that's what I want." Hiromi having the courage, gripping the side of his pants.

Akito's grip tightened, pulling him closer until their lips met in a kiss that was both tentative and fiery. It was a promise, a declaration of what was to come. When they finally pulled apart, panting and flushed, the smile on Akito's face was so wide it looked like it could split his face in two."

"Good," he murmured, resting his forehead against Hiromi's. "Because I've been waiting for you to catch up." He thought with a chuckle, technically confessing to Hiromi twice. The sound a balm to the nerves that had been stretched taut within Hiromi. "Now, let's get out of here before someone thinks we're skipping class."

Hiromi was confused why he had to tease and do all of that, He wondered.. "Were we already a thing?"

(Author)- YESS BOO YOU IDIOT.

They stepped out of the bathroom, hand in hand, and the world rushed back in. The whispers grew into a crescendo, the glances turned into smiles, and the tightrope they had been walking on transformed into a wide, welcoming path. They were no longer just friends; they were something more, something deeper, something that the world could see in the way their eyes shone when they looked at each other.

As they walked home together, the sun setting in a blaze of oranges and pinks, Hiromi felt lighter than he had in weeks. He had walked and skipped with laughter and a hum.

He had finally found the words to define what they had become, and the relief washed over him like a cool breeze. He looked over at Akito, who was humming a tune under his breath, and felt a warmth spread through his chest. They were lovers now, and the world was a brighter place because of it.

Later that evening, he sat down with Hana on Akitos bed cuddling like they did as kids, the words spilling out of him like a dam had broken. He told her everything, from the kiss to the conversation in the bathroom. She squealed with excitement, her eyes sparkling like stars. "Finally!" she exclaimed, throwing her arms around him. "I knew it! I'm so happy for you guys!" Her enthusiasm was infectious, and soon they were both grinning like fools, reliving the moment over and over again. It was the first time he had talked about it out loud, and it felt like a weight had been lifted from his shoulders. With Hana's blessing, he knew that their relationship could only grow stronger. As the night grew darker, and the stars began to twinkle in the sky, Hiromi felt a sense of peace settle over him. He had Akito by his side, and now, finally, the words to describe what they had.

They were lovers, and it was as simple and as beautiful as that.
