Tesla was now currently walking through the halls of Bright Moon's castle with Entrapta and Hordak, as they had somehow convinced her into coming into Bright Moon with them for the weekly meeting.
Tesla: ( as she walked alongside her parents: ) Mama, Papa, I still fail to see the importance of my attendance, the weekly Royals of Etheria meeting is a meeting between the rulers of the kingdoms of Etheria, not princesses or princes.
Hordak: Yes, but it's good for your mental health to socialize with your peers and to get out of the place you're used to.
Entrapta: Plus, this social experiment will give you a chance to reunite with your old friends again.
Tesla: I know that, but-
???: ( gasps ) ( happily surprised: ) Tesla, is that you?!
Tesla turned around and her eyes widened slightly when she saw that it was Petal, who has grown a lot taller than the last time Tesla saw the princess of Plumeria. Petal's height looked like she went up slightly past Perfuma's shoulders, and Petal had braids and flower petals in her hair that had grown past her waist. Petal was also wearing a red flower tiara, red sandals, and a pink dress layered with frills and decorated with flowers.
Tesla: Petal?
Tesla then froze up slightly when Petal suddenly hugged her, causing Hordak and Entrapta to smile at the sight of one of Tesla's old friends being happy to see their daughter again.
Petal: Oh my goodness, I can't believe it! It's been so long since I last seen you! ( Pulls away from the hug and noticed the changes in Tesla's appearance ) And wow, look at you! You've changed a lot!
Tesla: It has been eleve-
Petal: ( to Hordak and Entrapta, with a smile on her face: ) You don't mind that I take her and joined the others at the parlor, right?
Hordak: Of course not, Petal.
Entrapta: Have fun, Tesla.
Tesla was about to try to protest, but Petal interlocks her arm with Tesla's and began leading the winged teen in the opposite direction of where the meeting was taking place, and as they made their way through the halls of the castle, Petal was talking to Tesla excitedly.
Petal: Oh, I'm so excited for the others to see you. I'm sure they are going to be thrived to see you again, especially Shark. And I'm sure Seashell, Arrow, and Gust are going to love you!
Tesla: ( confused: ) Who?
Petal: Oh, yeah, you don't know them. Well, Shark and Summer are now older siblings. Seashell is Shark's little sister and Arrow is Summer's little brother. And Gust is Spinnerella and Netossa's son. I'm sure you're going to love them.
When the two got to the parlor and went inside, they only saw a nine year old boy with fluffy, wavy lavender purple hair, blue eyes, and dark skin and he was wearing a cute purple sweater decorated with blue net patterns, brown pants, and magenta shoes. The boy was sitting on his knees at the parlor's coffee table, reading a book with a notebook and pencil on the ground beside him, he then looked up from the book and looked at the two teens with confusion.
Petal: Gust, where are the others- ( sighs ) Let me guess, Damon and Arrow went off causing chaos and Summer and Shark went after them and Seashell followed them shouting " Adventure! " again?
Gust calmly nods his head " yes " in response before he points to Tesla with a curious expression on his face, causing Tesla to raise her brow with a curious smile at the silent child.
Petal: Oh, Gust, this is Tesla. Tesla, Gust and before you ask why he doesn't talk, he's-
Tesla: ( calmly, with an understanding smile: ) Mute, I know. ( To Gust, with a calm smile: ) And I'm guessing that notebook and pencil beside you is how you communicate with others if you want to say something that's not a yes or a no?
Gust quickly nods his head with a smile before he picks up his notebook and pencil, wrote " How did you know? " and showed it to Tesla.
Tesla: One of my uncles is mute, and he has a similar way of how to communicate with others.
Petal awed at how Tesla seemed to instantly bonded with Gust, but they heard a little girl yell " Adventure! " somewhere outside the room and a few seconds afterwards a crash was heard.
Petal: I should probably go check on how the others are doing... Tesla, you don't mind-
Tesla: ( calmly: ) You go help Summer and Shark with Damon, from the sounds of it, Damon is still as equally as chaotic as he was when I last saw him. I'll watch over young Gust here.
Petal then quickly walked out of the parlor when another crash was heard, and they heard, who Tesla assumed was Summer yelling " DAMON! "
Tesla: ( to Gust: ) Damon is sorta a bad influence isn't he?
Gust nod his head with a smile as he shrugs his shoulders.
Tesla: Of course, some things never changed. What are you reading anyway?
Gust calmly put his notebook and pencil down on the coffee table and left up the book his was reading, and Tesla smiled slightly when she saw what kind of book the young child was reading.
Tesla: Battle strategies. Excellent choice.
