As time went on, i found myself in a relationship with a man i deeply loved, and we decided to get married. It was supposed to be the beginning of a beautiful new chapter in my life. But then, first if many heartaches struck-- i had a miscarriage. The loss was indescribable, and i struggled to come to terms with the fact that the child i had hoped for was gone before i even had the chance to hold them.
Despite the grief, I tried to move forward, telling myself that everything will be okay in time. But life wasn't done testing me. Hera needed a surgery for her shoulder. And i promise my mother that i would save up enough money to cover the cost. But before i could make good on that promise, Hera's mother reappeared and took her away from us. They cut off all communications- no calls, no messages, no updates. It was as if Hera had been ripped from my life, and i was powerless to do anything about it.
