Woo! Has this been a ride, I've enjoyed it so much. Obviously, this is the end of the Ava Cobalt story, at least, for me. I started writing Ava during my freshman year of high school, during the pandemic, just as Project: 863 was getting really good.
Now, four years, 12 books, and a graduation, later, we've made it. Ups, downs, and all-around, we've made it. I've loved writing Ava, coming up with so many different ideas for her, and getting to develop her character as I have grown as a person.
Honestly, at the time I started writing Ava, I was going through a traumatic period (that had nothing to do with what was going on in the world at the time) and I was using Ava as an outlet for that trauma. Clearly, as time passed, I got better and Ava's stories changed, along with her character, along with the others in the story.
I hope you all enjoy Ava's ending. Probably not what you were expecting, but I think this is the best conclusion I could create. Truthfully, this is nowhere near the ending I had originally planned, but I really like this ending better.
It's time to move forward. We've all grown since that era of time. To all the Ava fans, thank you. Don't stop being you. Keep growing and changing. Who knows, the 'you' that you become might be better than the 'you' you planned. :)
Thank you guys, so much. Keep creating, stay curious, and most of all, be true.
