CHAPTER II
"The New Arrival"

I run up the stairs quickly. I open the door and head straight to the kitchen on the ground floor of the villa. I see Beaumont through the window. He's lying on the grass, watching the sky. With his short black hair and black t-shirt, he stands out so much against nature's pastel palette.
"Someone new is coming," I say as I walk quickly. He turns around and looks at me, with a grin on his face that says, 'It's about time.'
