When Morgie woke up the next morning, Hook's bed was empty, except for several items of clothes and the blanket that was half on the floor. Which was unusual, because normally they would go to breakfast together. Besides, normally the pirate would sleep until about half an hour before classes would start, and the only reason he would wake up was because Morgie was doing everything that came to mind to get him awake.

But nevertheless the sorcerer didn't think much of it. He just assumed the other boy was hungry and just forgot to leave a note for him. So he got dressed and made his way to the dining hall, expecting Hook to be there.

But he wasn't, so Morgie just ate in peace until Hades joined him. Maleficent also didn't show up, and Hades said he didn't know where she was but just expected to see her in class. Which was quite unusual for the couple, since normally they were always together, but when Morgie asked the god about it he just answered with: "we're a couple, a couple means two not one" before taking a sip of his coffee. So the sorcerer just dropped the topic. Uliana had shown up, but she just walked past them to sit with the other VK's.

Morgie was glad that she didn't ask him about if he was quitting her or not, he still hadn't made up his mind. Besides he had other things to worry about such as what he was going to wear for castlecoming, but most importantly, why James had acted so distant last night and if he hated Morgie. But fortunately for him he didn't have to think about all that for long because the bell rang indicating that the first class was about to start. So he quickly stuffed his last pancake in his mouth before following Hades to class, hoping Hook would be there.

Luckily for Morgie, Hook was there. He was sitting next to Maleficent, well, he was until Maleficent noticed Hades and quickly ditched Hook to sit next to her boyfriend behind him. So Morgie quickly walked to the now free spot and quietly threatened a girl with his snake eyes to make sure he could sit next to Hook.

"Hi James" the sorcerer said smiling as he sat down next to him.

"Don't call me James" the pirate snapped back at him.

"Sorry" Morgie said dumbfounded just staring at the other boy. Hook had always been okay with Morgie calling him James. And being the only person who wouldn't get a hook pressed against their throat when they did, made him feel special. But now the pirate didn't even look at him. He almost felt stupid, just staring at Hook, who didn't even spare him a glance. And he knew he must have looked stupid because Maleficent cleared her throat to try to get Morgie's attention.

"Have you decided if you're going to castle coming Morgie?" She asked.

When he turned around to face her he could see Hook glaring at him from the corner of his eye.

"Um, yes, I'm going" he replied. He decided it was better not to tell her who he was going with, in fear of her reaction being similar to Hook's. And he really didn't want to lose two friends within twenty-four hours.

"Do you know what you're going to wear?"

"No?"

"No? It's tonight"

"I know, I'll figure something out"

Maleficent smiled. "No you won't, but don't worry I'll help you get ready then" she said. Morgie saw her eyes flicker to the boy next to him for a second before continuing. "I'll come by your dorm after my class ends, Okay?"

"Okay" he replied smiling before turning around to listen to Merlin.
