chapter 2: a new school and new home.

When everyone returned to the Xavier institute, Charles had to get Jean to help him keep Naruto unconscious for several reasons. The first of which was waking up in a new place and an unfamiliar environment.

The second reason is that he'd probably attempt to fight back with his abilities.
Lastly. Any direct contact could wake him up and cause the destruction of the mansion and unnecessary deaths.

Charles then said.

"All of you might be thinking that what he did was manipulate the gravity field around himself like magneto does.

When,in actuality, it was pure psychic energy that he released on a large scale.
Similar to what you've been capable of, Jean. Only his potential may not be limited to just telepathy and telekinesis.

Absorption of other abilities is unusual.
Even I've never seen such an ability.
He absorbed Storms power, like rogue.

But he doesn't need to make contact.
Not physically, at least. Just being hit by it is enough for him to use it on us."

And Logan said.

"What about mine???.
You said physical contact isn't necessarily needed. Are you saying that physical damage is only effective against the kid???. If that's the case, I'll gladly fight the kid. Any time anywhere."

And Charles said.

"I wouldn't recommend that either.
Indirect contact lets him absorb energy based mutant powers attacks. But making direct contact won't do much either. Direct damage will only cause his rapid healing factor, not unlike your own, to kick in. Even fatal injuries would heal faster than yours Logan.

For now,our best course of action is to let him adjust to his new surroundings.
Keep as much distance from him as possible.Keep the other students a small distance from him as well. He's still not mentally stable enough to interact with others after what we've just seen.

And if you'd have seen what I did inside of his mind,Logan. Even you wouldn't want to be too close if he were angry.

He isn't just damaged mentally.
But emotionally damaged as well.
Living life in isolation without family.

Being kicked out of the orphanage at the age of 4 years old. Living in an apartment alone for several years.

Being lied to and abandoned by the ones your parents entrusted to care for you.
Being lied to by the people you trusted.
Having your parents' identity kept secret. Why you're hated kept secret.

As a child, you can't tell me you would feel untrustworthy of the people who saved you from that terrible lifestyle.

As a child being kept from others.
Isolated and alone. No friends.
Nobody who would ever care.

All because of a beast of primal power.
A beast you contain to keep the people who hate you safe from that beast.

He's been through so much persecution.
He's been hated for something out of his control. Pushed away out of fear.
What he really needs isn't a group of teachers. But people he can call family."

And Logan said.

"I've always been untrusting towards others. You live long enough like I have, and eventually, you grow Paranoid about people stabbing you in the back.
You're probably one of a few I trust."

And Charles said.

"I'm glad to know you trust me enough with your life to help you, Wolverine.
But this child won't be as trusting to us.

What he displayed was several types of kinetic powers known as electrokinesis,hydrokinesis,cryokinesis,
Along with telekinesis and telepathy.

In the wrong hands, his powers could cause mass destruction to others.
Manipulation of the elements with your mind is something even Jean can't do.
Which is what makes him so unique."
