"Hug me close ‘til I smell like you,
Your scent’s a thief, it pulls me through,
Winter snarls, but I don’t care,
Snuggled tight, I’m locked in there.

Tuck my head beneath your chin,
A giggle slips, you reel me in,
The frost can howl, it’s got no claim,
Your warmth’s my shield, my wild flame.

Kiss my jaw, make it slow,
Trace your name so I won’t let go.
Fingers tangled, lips like fire,
You’re the match, I’m the pyre.

Press your hands against my chest,
Feel my heart—yeah, it beats a mess.
You ruin me soft, you wreck me sweet,
Your love’s the trap I’ll never cheat.

Brush my hair, a tender tease,
Fingers light, you’ve got me seized,

Your laugh’s a spark, my heart’s a fool,
I’m drunk on you, you break the rules.

Steal my scarf, wrap us tight,
We’re a knot of heat in the biting night.
Nudge my ribs, a teasing shove,
You’re my wild, my crazy love,

Sling your arm around my neck,
Pull me tight, I’m your sweet wreck,
The cold’s a joke, your heat’s my throne,
You’ve claimed me fierce, I’m flesh and bone.

You pull me deep, your core’s a blaze,
I’m lost inside, ‘til morning’s haze,
Your gasps are wild, your grip’s my chain,
The cold’s erased in sweat-soaked rain.

Lets me feast, your bosom's my cure,
I suckle soft when frost bites sure,
Your warmth’s a flood, I harden fast,
You cling, you moan, the night won’t last.

Legs lock tight, I’m buried whole,
You trembles sweet, I’ve stormed your soul,
The winter’s gone, your heat’s my throne,
We burn as one ‘til dawn’s full-blown.

Melt in my arms, ruin my name,
Make the cold forget its claim.
Hug me close, love me wild,
Be my home, my warmth, my fire."

I can't feel my hands

I can't feel my hands.

Or my ears. Or my face. Or my soul.

It's been an hour. An hour of standing in the middle of this godforsaken shopping street, slowly freezing to death while being trampled by swarms of frantic holiday shoppers.

There's a massive Christmas tree right across from us, and every five minutes, some poor bloke gets dragged into taking pictures for a random couple.

And yet, despite all the festive cheer, I was on the verge of homicide.
