Story idea: Saint Seiya Attack on Titan crossover
Story name: Saint Seiya: Gigantomachia
I came up with this story about 10 years ago. At the time, I just discovered this really old anime called Saint Seiya and I was really into attack on Titan at the time and I couldn't help but think Saint Seiya would be awesome if it crossed over with attack on Titan. Anyway, here's the synopsis:

The Saints of Athena are the protectors of peace, love, and justice throughout the world. Clad in their mythical armor, or cloths, modeled after the various constellations of the zodiac they burn their cosmos and fight against those that would threaten it. Over the millennia, Athena's saints protected the world from the machinations of the gods of Olympus.  Tired of always being being defeated by Athena Saints, various gods, most of which who have been defeated by them conspire to try and take them down once and for all. So they make a deal with Kronos, the king of the Titans to help them. Only to be betrayed. He he and his fellow Titans overthrow the Olympians and take their place. Afterwards, they place a curse on all humanity, changing most of them into grotesque gargantuan ravenous monsters, bent on the devouring all humanity.

The Saints fight them off as much as they can, but they are overwhelmed by the sheer numbers and power. With no other option, they use their tremendous combined cosmos' To erect, massive impenetrable walls to protect what little pockets of humanity remain. So remains for 100 years, the last of the Saints and Athena hide behind the walls protecting what little of humanity is left and fighting the Titans, but not enough to make any real difference. Eventually, they all lose hope and just focus on surviving.

And that's the general synopsis.

The story takes place 100 years after the walls are created. It's a similar set up to the original attack on Titan. The people who have lived inside the walls all their lives have no knowledge of the world outside the walls or life before the Titans for them, this is the only world they've ever known. At this point, only five of the 12 gold Saints have survived and I've been guarding humanity for 100 years. For those who don't know, the saints of Athena have incredible longevity able to live for centuries thanks for their Cosmo. Anyway, the remaining gold Saints have grown old, somewhat bitter, and complacent with no interest to try and fight off the Titans anymore and just try and protect what's left of humanity as well as their matron goddess Athena.

(Authors note: is 100 years enough of a time or should it be longer?)

The story will focus primarily on the five remaining gold Saints of Capricorn, Sagittarius, Libra, Leo, and Aries. I chose those mostly because they're my favorite of the gold Saints, especially Capricorn since I am one. But over the course of the story, they will go out into the world in search of new gold Saints to fill up their ranks which have been vacant for the last hundred or so years. The reason they're vacant is because as a result of the centuries long war with the Titans, the Saints lost most of their fellow Saints as well as their gold armor. They received guidance on where to find potential gold saint candidates from a young man named Markelot who wears the gold armor of Scorpio.

Later on in the story, after finding more Saints to fill up the 12 houses of the zodiac. they're  also going to venture out to find the missing gods that were imprisoned by the Titans. There will also be other monsters from Greek mythology alongside the Titans, but the Titans will be central villains.

Anyway, that's about it. Please leave comments and feedback. There's only a handful of you following me so I don't expect much. Anyway, I want to do well with this story so feel free to be brutal.
