Bubba Bubbaphant x Reader Headcanons

°He LOVES to read books to you! Especially ones that he feels like you'd love. Sometimes he reads mystery novels to you so he can make assumptions what would happen next so he can impress you with his smartness.

°He is a gentlephant (I got nothing. Lol 😭). He opens doors for you, pulls out the chair when you have to sit, walks with you on the sidewalk but makes sure that you're not on the side closer to the road, holds your hand when he needs to. He's too sweet.

°Calls you Dear, Sweetie, Love (And Tiny if your somewhat smaller than him).

°Scolds you when you do certain things he doesn't like, but he just can't stay mad at you when he knows how soft for you he is.

°Loves to clean and tidy up around the place, even if it's a mess you made, he'd still clean up after you.

°If he finds more than one mess you made, he'd shake his head and quietly sigh before cleaning it up, but he's actually enjoying the fact that he's cleaning the mess so you wouldn't have to.

°He's always looking after you. He is so overprotective. He would just lean against the doorframe with his arms crossed and watch you if you were outside. And oh boy does he watch you like a hawk when you're interacting with someone else, even his friends.

°He won't say anything. Just watch you.

°BRO IS A FREAKING SURVEILLANCE CAMERA-

°If there so happens to be any trouble or someone tries to start a fight with you, he isn't afraid to speak up. Sure, he knows you can take care of yourself, but he can't help it. He has to be there for you!

°If he ever finds a peaceful place and ends up loving it, he will take you there so you can have some time alone with him.

°When you two are in an argument...it. gets. Bad. It really does get bad.

°He has a bit of a temper, so he yells very loudly. He will even break something if he needed to. He also ends up saying a load of bad insults. Very cold insults.

°He would try not to touch you when he's in that state of anger, but he will actually end up grabbing your arm as an attempt to shush you because he's yelling way louder than you are, but he knows it's a bad way to make you hear him out.

°He will go to the most peaceful place he can find to just sit there to himself and cool off. He ends up knowing how wrong he was for doing that, but doesn't say anything.

°He doesn't end up apologizing until the next day, and when he does, it's really sincere. He would even get you whatever you liked as a gift. He really wants your forgiveness. It breaks his heart to see you so hurt from his words.

°Afterwards, he will give you as much attention as he can. And of course read many books to you to make you feel better. His voice is soothing and quiet when he reads, so he knows it will help you.

°Not really big on PDA, but just like Picky, it's not that he doesn't like it, he just gets embarrassed (Not that he wouldn't give it to you 👀)

°The height difference between you two is adorable (Unless you're the same height as him). Whether you can reach it or not, Bubba will grab that thing you need just to assist you.

°If there so happens to be this long peaceful silence between you two and you're sitting close enough to him, he will doze off because he feels this comfort when he's with you. (Take a picture. It's too cute not to. I'M SORRY IT'S TRUE-)

°When you two sleep, he doesn't give you a choice but to make him the big spoon. He wants to be and will put his foot down if you try to refuse.

°He cradles you because he loves to make sure you fall asleep comfortably.

°Sometimes (Most of the time) he'd read you a book to help you fall asleep. He knows how soothing it can be, especially when he has such a calm demeanor.

°He has this little nightlight where it makes these little stars on the ceiling, so you can watch those and fall asleep. He always tucks you in and gives you a small nuzzle against your cheek before either leaving or joining you.

°When he's with his friends, he talks about you a little bit, only a little bit, but deep inside, he has alot to say. (He brags about you. 😏)

°If you want to sit and watch a movie, he'll act like it's too childish for him, but oh boy he loves it. He will sit with you anyway, and he's almost more interested than you when watching it. He never asks for it, but he wants to always watch movies like that with you.

°If you you get stuck on ANYTHING that has to do with math, BRO WILL RUN INTO THE ROOM SO FAST AND GIVE YOU THE ANSWERS.
"I VOLUNTEER! I VOLUNTEER! I volunteer as tribute."

°Lol. He teaches you step by step through the problem so you can have a better understanding.

°He will pet you, hug you, and even give you kisses! That's when nobody is looking, he tries to look nonchalant about affection when in front of anyone, but when nobody is around, he's showering you with kisses when he gets the chance.

°You're just to huggable and soft for him not to!

°Bubba loves you so much! He doesn't even know what he'd do without you.
