CatNap x Reader Headcanons

°It has never been more peaceful with this cat around.

°He always watches you quietly, no matter where you go or where you are, he is always around. His presence just isn't always known because he's so quiet.

°Everytime he speaks to you (If he does), his voice is low, quiet, and soothing.

°He is very gentle with you. He treats you like a delicate flower that will shrivel apart if he were to do you roughly.

°If you do PDA, he doesn't mind at all. Hug him, kiss him, pour him with as much love as you can! Sometimes he's motionless for it all, and sometimes he will hug you in return and let you give him all the love you want! It's not that he doesn't love you, he just had a rough past, so it's hard for him to accept affection in a certain way.

°He will eventually get used to it and start giving you affection too, like snuggling you or nuzzling your cheek. Even a passionate kiss out of nowhere before he goes to nap in a tree.

°Just like DogDay, he is extremely overprotective. He watches whoever interacts with you more than a hawk...WORSE than a hawk.

°He gives them the death stare, and he doesn't stop until they're done talking/interacting with you. Sure it creeps them out, but he doesn't give a hoot about it at all.

°If anyone attempts to harm you in any kind of way, he will become VERY hostile and try to attack without hesitation. He will even try to put whoever it is to sleep with his red smoke. You'd have to calm him down.

°CatNap doesn't eat at all, even if he was absolutely starving, he wouldn't eat. Poor thing just isn't used to it, so he can barely pull himself to do it, but when it comes to you...if you ask him, beg him, or even just give it to him, he will eat. Just for you. He'll do it because he knows it will make you happy if he did.

°He naps all the time, and sometimes, he even wants you to join him! He invites DogDay sometimes, but if you wanted it to be just you two, he doesn't mind at all. As long as you're comfortable, he's comfortable.

°He doesn't say a word about you around his friends, but it's not that he doesn't want to. He's just keeps it to himself unless they asked. He wants to make sure he's welcomed in a conversation.

°He loves to pick you up and carry you places, or wrap his long tail around you and carry you around that way. CatNap is strong, so he actually enjoys holding you.

°If you guys get in a fight or argument...

HE IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIFYING. I'm not even sure if the argument will even progress any further once he has that frightening expression on his face. He's like...really pissed.

°If he sees that he had frightened you, then he will carry you to somewhere comfortable and try to make you feel better. He can hardly apologize, he feels pretty bad for his actions.

°When he sleeps, he LOVES to hold you and hug you and cuddle you.

°He purrs so loudly when you're close to him! It's so cute!

°He's big spoon and little spoon when you want him to be.

°When he sleeps, he's in a deep sleep, but he won't hesitate to wake himself up to make sure you're still there. He knows how to keep you warm with his fur, and wrapped tightly in his arms.

°Sometimes, he would massage your back. It's soooo relaxing and comforting, and sometimes he does it subconsciously. He loves massaging you.

°Don't get me wrong, anything that happens that he doesn't like, he will hiss and screech, but he's only when he's alarmed or triggered. All he wants to do is protect you.

°Any bugs? Trust me, ask for his help and you won't see it ever again.

°He will sit and watch a movie with you...until he falls asleep the first 5 minutes of the movie. Nono, he will stay awake sometimes! He doesn't fall asleep all the time, but he really likes when you guys watch it with the lights off. It gives off a calmer atmosphere.

°CatNap has a crazy side to him. He isn't too obsessive, but he will kill and die for you if he has to. He knows how to fight, dig his claws through a person's skin and get bl00dy when needed, because when you aren't around, he does NOT hold back.

°He always gives you a soft, tired smile when he wakes up. He would stand in front of you for a moment before just bringing you into a warm, cuddly embrace. (His tail sways around with joy behind him 😸)

°Gets you gifts any chance he gets. Perhaps a plush that looks exactly like him. 🌙💜💤

°He will sing to you, especially when the night or day is peaceful. His voice...it's so comforting and soothing, enough to put a person to sleep. 💤

°HE LOVES TO STARGAZE WITH YOU!!! THE NIGHT SKY IS SO PRETTY!!! 😭 (He enjoys it better with you. ♡)

°LOVES to hold your hand. He LOVES it!!

That's it for the Headcanons, probably for now until I get more ideas! I've been writing on these almost everyday, well, mostly everyday just to finish these!

Now I'm plum tuckered out and might Take a Rest for the time being. I'm not sure how long the break will be. It might be long, it might be short, but I will return for more chapters!
