I'm sitting on our bus with Ella's family. Ella's in the back getting ready for the show with her mom and aunts. I'm sitting in the front area with her dad Rip, Kayce, and Lee. I can tell they are itching to grill me.
"What do you wanna know?" I ask looking at all three of them.
"How long have you and my daughter been together?" Rip asks looking at me.
"Ella and I have been together two years. I've know her for four years. We where friends before we got together. I met her when she started playing music in dive bars. I also stood by her during her relationship with her piece of shit ex. I don't make any promises on not killing that bastard if we ever cross paths again." I say looking over at Rip.
"I won't push you on telling us what happened. I know that's her story to tell. I'll say this Brantley if you ever hurt my daughter no one will find your body." Rip says looking me dead in the eye.
"I respect that wholeheartedly. If I ever hurt Ella I wouldn't fight you on that. I don't ever plan on hurting her. She brings out the best in me. She's the only person I could see spending my life with." I say truthfully looking him in the eye.
Rip nods his head and shakes my hand. Lee and Kayce both share a look amongst themselves.
"We are both in agreement with Rip. If you hurt her their will be no more Brantley Gilbert." Lee says with a deathly calm face.
Kayce nods in agreement. After the air is cleared amongst Ella's Dad and Uncles we just chat in general about life. We have been talking for little over an hour when I see Beth, Brie, and Monica come from the back of the bus.
"She's finishing up putting her clothes on for the show. She'll be out in a minute." Beth says with a smile.
She walks over and sits in Rip's lap. Brie and Monica echo Beth's actions. I turn and look when I get the door open again. I can't help but smile when I see Ella walk out. She's wearing this white tide top and white skirt. She also has on white boots and her brown cowboy hat. She never fails at taking my breath away.

"What are all of y'all looking at?" Ella says with a grin.
I notice that her Dad and Uncles are both in shock. Her dad is the first one to recover.
"You look beautiful honey!" He says as both Beth and him stand up.
He walks over and pulls her into a hug. I can't help but smile. I know she wanted everything to go well with meeting her family. I know her grandad should be here shortly along with her cousin Tate. I know her dad mentioned that the wranglers for the Yellowstone will be here as well. Rip said that her grandad gave everyone the night off. I'm also curious to see if her slimy Uncle Jamie will show up. I know he threatened to ruin Beth after she decided to not go with the abortion. She instead chose to stay in Texas with Travis Wheatley and his family. I think Travis will be here tonight as well. Beth made him Ella's godfather.
