Beth's POV

PJ examines the wallet that was slid under the door. I notice PJ picking it up. Once he looks at he grabs his phone. He dials 911.

"Hello, my name is PJ. I'm the head of security for Brantley Gilbert. We are currently barricaded in the building behind the stage. I want verify a badge that was slid under the door. I want to make sure that this actually law enforcement. The badge number is 9125603." PJ asks the operator on his cell phone.

"Thank you!" PJ says as holsters his gun and hangs up the phone.

PJ turns around and looks at all the guys. I notice that everyone from the ranch has their pistols drawn.

"You can put your guns away. The 911 dispatcher confirmed that it's one of Sheriff Donnie Haskel's deputies." PJ says as goes over to the door.

He moves the furniture out of the way. Once the furniture is out of the way. I see the Sheriff Donnie and one of his deputies come through the door.

John's POV

"John, is everyone okay?" Donnie asks when comes inside.

"Donnie, we need an ambulance. My granddaughter Ella was shot. Brie was able to patch her up." I say looking at him with serious expression.

"I have several in route now. I'll have one dispatched to here. Do we now what happened?" Donnie says as he walks over to me.

"We noticed something was off halfway through Ella and Struggles duet. They had both froze on stage. That's when I noticed a red dot from a laser. The type of laser you'd see on a assault riffle. The dot was aimed at Ella. Struggle noticed it about the same time I did. He pushed Ella off the cat walk towards me. I grabbed her and pulled her down behind the barricade. Struggle had jumped down behind her. That's when the three made a dash for this building. PJ my head of security had already ushered Ella's family and our friends into this building ahead of us. We where almost inside when another round of shots went off. That's when Ella was shot in the side. I then proceeded to pick up Ella and dash inside. Struggle made sure to help me cover Ella the best we could. Once inside Brie got work to stop the bleeding and patch her up." Brantley says looking at Donnie with a an angry look.

I notice before Donnie can ask anymore questions the ambulance pulls up. Once the ambulance stops I see Dr. Rhodes jump out. He is Brie's colleague. He rushes over to Ella and Brie with paramedics not far behind him.

Brantley's POV

I see a man in black scrubs jump out of the ambulance. I notice Brie looks like she knows him. I relax knowing that everything should be okay. They get Ella transferred over to a stretcher. Once she's transferred over the hook her up to all the monitors.

"Brantley, this is Dr. Connor Rhodes. He's one of the best trauma surgeons and ER doctors in Montana. We are going to get her over to the hospital in Billings. We are going to due x-rays and check her out. The wound looks through and through. Plus I want to give her a blood transfusion as well. She lost more blood than I would like. I want you to know that she's going to be okay." Brie says as she give my hand a reassuring squeeze.

"Thank you!" I say looking at her just relieved.

"You're welcome! Brantley, I'm going to ride in with Connor and Ella on the ambulance. Lee, Kasey, Monica, Beth and Rip can take you. PJ pulled our SUV around. Lee is going to follow behind the ambulance." Brie says before she heads off towards the ambulance.

"Come on honey! Let's head to the hospital." Beth says as she gently leads me to the SUV with Yellowstone Dutton Ranch Logo on the side.

We all load up and speed out of the rodeo grounds.
