A Bau Bau Dorm Life!

Prologue

(The story here takes place around 11 years before Chapter 1.)

It's the first day of school as a 4th grader. You, Y/N are very excited to reunite with your friends as you haven't seen them since the Winter vacations started... However, as you were walking to school you saw two twin girls who looked new to you, which was weird since you knew basically everyone in your small school. They had blonde hair, one with short hair and streaks of pink and the other with long hair and streaks of light blue. For some reason, they had a pair of dog ears and a tail. You just shrugged it off as a fashion choice. Perhaps they were transfer students? Whatever. You walked up to them and greeted them.

Y/N: "Hi, I'm Y/N... Are you two transfer students? I haven't seen you around before... What are your names? Are you two going to this school aswell?"

The one with longer hair speaks up as you greet them and ask them those questions.

???: "Oh, hello! Bau bau, our names are Fuwawa Abyssgard and Mococo Abyssgard! It's nice to meet you, Y/N! And, yes! We are transfer students, bau bau!"

Y/N: "Fuwawa and Mococo... Then, which one is Fuwawa and which one is Mococo...?"

You ask with a tone of curiousity, expecting them to tell you. Just as you finish speaking, the one with shorter hair starts talking, with a tone that sounds... teasing, per se.

???: "Ehh, we'll let you guess instead... It's no fun just straight up telling you, bau bau! Which one do you think is Fuwawa, and which one is Mococo?"

Y/N: "Uhm... I'm guessing that... The one with shorter hair is called Fuwawa...? And the one with longer hair is called Mococo? Am I right?"

You say nervously as you really don't want to get their names wrong on the first meeting. However, as soon as you finish your sentence... The short haired twin looks at you with a grin. It seems that you got it wrong...

???: "Hehe, that's wrong! The one with shorter hair... Me! Is Mococo. The one with longer hair, my big sister is Fuwawa! I can't believe you got that wrong, bau bau~ It was a 50% chance of guessing it right, and you got it wrong!"

Y/N: "Eh...? Seriously? And I thought that I got it right... Well... It's nice to meet you two, Fuwawa and Mococo... Which class are you two in, by the way? I'm in Class 4A."

Fuwawa: "Oh, uhm... I think we were in Class 4A aswell, bau bau! Well, if I remember correctly that is... Did I remember correctly, Moco-chan?"

She looks over to her twin with a curious expression.

Mococo: "Uhm... Yeah, that's correct... We're in Class 4A, bau bau! Can you show us the way to the class please? Thank you, Y/N!"

Y/N: "Oh, sure. Just follow me, and don't get lost in the hallways okay? Our school layout is a bit confusing so... Ah, whatever! Just follow close behind me."

Fuwawa and Mococo: "Okay, bau bau! Thanks again for leading us!"

Ah... They're way too cute, you think to yourself. How are you supposed to not smile when they're nearby? Their cute appearance, personality... You just wanna hold their hands and make them smile in return. They're way too precious.

Fuwawa: "Eh? Y/N? Hellooo? Are you still here with us, bau bau? Earth to Y/N? You're supposed to be bringing us to our class, not standing there and daydreaming! Come on, let's go!"

You wake up from your daydream of Fuwawa and Mococo as she calls you and flicks your forehead gently.

Y/N: "Ah, yes! I'm sorry, I just blanked out into space for a second... Did you really have to flick me on the forehead like that...? You scared me, you know? And just follow me, got it?"
