A Bau Bau Dorm Life! (HIATUS)

Chapter 6

------------2 WEEKS LATER-------------

You arrive at the beach with Mococo, Fuwawa, Nerissa, Bijou and Shiori. Carlos, however, didn't turn up as he had a date. Surprising. Nevertheless, Mococo excitedly grabs her things and runs over to the sandy beach.

Mococo: "Bau bau!! It's the beach! And the sea!"

Fuwawa: "Hehe~ Calm down, Moco-chan~ It's like this is your first time at the beach or something!"

You find a spot nearby to settle in, setting down your own towel and belongings. As you dig your feet into the warm sand, you watch as Mococo and Fuwawa start splashing around in the shallow water, laughing and teasing each other. Mococo is practically glowing with excitement, her tail swishing back and forth as she kicks up water, trying to get Fuwawa drenched.

Mococo: "Isn't the water amazing, Fuwawa? Bau bau!"

Mococo calls out, spinning around with a big grin. In response, Fuwawa smiles, holding her hands up to block the spray.

Fuwawa: "It's refreshing! But maybe a little too cold for me right now. Let's take it slow, okay, Moco-chan?"

Mococo: "Fine, fine!"

Mococo agrees, though her playful expression suggests she's only half-listening.

Beside you, Shiori begins sketching in her notebook, her brow furrowed in concentration as she glances at Bijou building her 'sandcastle.' Bijou, fully immersed in her creation, is piling up sand with fervor, using her hands to shape towers and walls with impressive skill.

Y/N: "Biboo, you're really getting into that castle."

You comment, leaning back on your towel. Bijou beams up at you, her hands coated in sand.

Bijou: "Well, yeah! Gotta make it perfect, right? I'm thinking of adding a moat. And maybe a drawbridge... What do you think about a throne room? Think that's possible?"

You let out chuckle to her ideas.

 Y/N: "If anyone can, it's you. Just don't let Mococo knock it over."

Bijou gasps in mock horror.

Bijou: "She wouldn't dare! I'd turn her into a little sand gremlin if she tried!"

Mococo, overhearing the conversation, sticks her tongue out at you guys.

Mococo: "Bau bau! I'm no gremlin! But maybe I'll just make a little... 'adjustment' to your masterpiece, Biboo."

Shiori lets out a snicker to her response.

Shiori: "That's right, Biboo, your castle might not survive the wrath of the Evil Twin, Mococo Abyssgard."

Nerissa chuckles, sitting down next to the three of you.

Nerissa: "Why don't we all work together on it? Biboo's castle could use some reinforcements, and I'm sure with all of us working on it, we could make something... legendary."

Shiori perks up at that idea.

Shiori: "Yes! I'll document the process in my sketchbook. 'The Epic of Castle Bijou' – it'll be iconic."

Bijou: "Iconic and impenetrable!"

Bijou exclaims, pumping out her fist.

Bijou: "Alright, team! Let's get to work!"

You, Shiori, Nerissa, and Bijou gather around the 'castle', each of you claiming a side. Bijou designates you as the builder of the moat, instructing you on how deep to dig while she focuses on shaping the main tower. Shiori starts sculpting tiny windows and arches, her artistic skill evident in the delicate details she carves into the sand. Mococo and Fuwawa eventually join in, taking on the role of 'castle defenders', quite fitting, as they're demon guard dogs. Mococo kneels at the entrance, declaring it her mission to guard the castle from 'invaders', which mostly translates to her flinging bits of sand at anyone who gets too close. Fuwawa takes a different approach, using seashells and small pebbles to decorate the outer walls, creating a mosaic-like effect.
