Chapter 17

Maithili was having her tea when an angry bull entered in living room.

" Mom , where is Dad? "

Hriday asked coming back from office.

" Why? your father went to office with you. How will I know where he is ..."

Maithili asked looking at her pissed son's face.

" Mom you know what Dad did!!!"

Hriday said trying not to be rude.

" What Shikar did this time?"

Maithili asked not being so surprised as it's their daily chores at their house. Both son and father fights over their business values.

Maithili and Harshavardhan are the one who have to face this duo.

" He gave one of our major properties under an orphanage name. Like seriously you can believe, that was very profitable land."

" Calm down son first and have water."

Maithili said giving him a glass of water.

" Mom, you know how much that land cost"

Hriday drank the water.

" Hriday stop getting hype over this thing. "

Maithili tried to console him.

" What happened?"

Came a voice of Shikar.

Hriday stood up from couch and walked towards him.

" Dad!"

" Yes, Hriday what happened? You looked tensed!"

Shikar asked.

" Dad how can just gave that big and important land under an orphanage."

" Hriday talk politely with your father."

Maithili spoke.

" Sorry Dad I just, sorry Mom sorry Dad...!"

Hriday said controlling his anger.

" Sit let me explain."

Shikar spoke.

" Dad no need all i have is yours and Dadaji's, you don't have to explain me."

Hriday said.

" Hriday hear this first I know why you are this much angry."

Shikar spoke, Hriday looked down. All family members know how much anger he has, but what they all knows he never disrespect his family members. He never raise his voice over his elders.

Specially his father is like his friend.

He shares every problem with him. As today he got to know about that property he directly came home to talk with his father but in office he bumped with an employee, who made him angry.

" Dad I "

" Hriday I know from childhood how pampered you are but that thing makes you this much arrogant and self constructed that you forget about others."

" Shikar!"

Maithili looked at her husband for choosing such words.

" Mom please let Dad speak, whatever he does he do good for me. I believe in him."

Hriday spoke.

" Maithili I am not scolding him; I am just simply correcting him as a father."

Shikar said.

" Ok do your talk I am going inside... You both father and son duo will patch up quickly I know this..."

Maithili took her tea cup and went from there in her and Shikar's room.

Shikar motioned Hriday to went inside their study room, they will discuss this matter inside room. He doesn't want any servant to hear their talk.

Hriday closed the door and looked at his father.

Shikar told him took a seat. Hriday sat Infront of Shikar.

"Dad now may I know why you needed to give that important land to some orphanage... You can give any other land."

"Hriday that was your Dadi 's wish that the land should gave to the orphanage. You remember how your Dadi was. Maa was gentle and kind.  Once when she came here with Papa, she saw poor people suffering she told Papa that she has a wish to do something for them. Papa brought a land on her name but that time due to some political pressure Papa didn't make that orphanage. I came here with your mother to give the land to orphanage."

Hriday heard all the story, and he looked at his father in soft eyes.

"Dad, I didn't know it was Dadi's wish...I am sorry for my earlier behavior."

Hriday spoke.

"It's okay son I know how much aggressive decision maker you are but remember you need to control your behavior which may hurt others."

Shikar said.

"I will."

Hriday said in slow voice.

Shikar smiled and put his hand on Hriday's shoulder. He really gets worried for his son's aggressive and selfish nature, but he knows Hriday will never disappoint him.

"My work is done so me and Maithili is going back tomorrow's flight. "

Shikar spoke and walked out from the room leaving Hriday behind.
