Beomgyu chuckled at Soobin's comment, his eyes meeting the barista's. "Hey, Soobin. You know me so well. The usual, please."

Soobin began preparing the drink, while Beomgyu settled into a seat by the window. He noticed how Soobin seemed to light up every time he saw him.

"So, how's school going?" Soobin asked, making small talk as he worked on the coffee.

Beomgyu sighed dramatically, "Oh you know, the usual. Exams, assignments, endless lectures. I think I lost a few brain cells this week."

Soobin chuckled at Beomgyu's exaggerated complaints. "You say that every week, yet you always seem to come out on top."

"Oh, shut up," Beomgyu said, rolling his eyes but unable to hide a small smile. "It doesn't make the stress any less real."

Soobin finished making the coffee, adding a perfect foam heart on top before handing it to Beomgyu. "Here you go, a little extra love in there for you."

Beomgyu took the coffee, admiring the foam heart and feeling a slight shiver down his spine. "You're making it really hard to focus on school when you're flirting this hard, you know."

Soobin leaned against the counter, a smirk playing on his lips. "Is it working?"

"Unfortunately, yes." Beomgyu took a sip of the coffee, savoring the taste. "It's kind of annoying how charming you are, you know?"

Soobin chuckled, amused by Beomgyu's mix of frustration and affection. "Well, I do try my best," he said, winking playfully. "It's a specialty of mine."

Beomgyu couldn't help but laugh at Soobin's comment. "Ugh, you're such a flirt. It's infuriating and yet endearing at the same time."

Soobin reached over the counter and poked Beomgyu's cheek. "You're one to talk. You have your moments too, you know."

Beomgyu playfully swatted Soobin's hand away. "Oh, stop it. I'm not the one making heart-shaped foam in people's coffee."

Soobin feigned innocence, putting a hand to his chest. "What? Is it such a crime to add a little artistry to my craft?"

Beomgyu rolled his eyes, a small smile playing at the corners of his lips. "No, but it's definitely a crime to be this good-looking and charismatic. It's not fair for the rest of us mortals to compete."

Soobin chuckled and leaned forward, his voice lowering to a conspiratorial tone. "Well, I can't help it if I was born with these devastatingly handsome looks. It's a curse, really."

"Oh, please. Spare me the modesty act," Beomgyu said, taking another sip of his coffee. "You know damn well you have a charming smile. And don't even get me started on your height."

Soobin feigned surprise. "My height? Oh, you mean my secret weapon?" he teased, standing up straight to emphasize his height.

Beomgyu rolled his eyes again, even though he was secretly appreciating the view. "You and your damn tall genes. It's an unfair advantage."

As Soobin and Beomgyu continued their banter, a group of students came in, interrupting their conversation. One of them, a grumpy girl, spoke up loudly.

"Excuse me? We need coffee too." she said irritably. "Can you finish your flirting later and take our order?"

Beomgyu and Soobin exchanged an amused glance.

Soobin quickly snapped out of his flirty mode, back to his professional persona. "Right, sorry about that. What can I get for you?"

The girl rattled off her order, followed by her friends. Beomgyu stifled a laugh, watching Soobin juggle multiple orders at once.

"Looks like we got our dose of reality check," Beomgyu commented as Soobin got busy making the orders.

Soobin shot a quick smirk at Beomgyu over his shoulder. "Don't worry, we can continue this later" he teased before focusing on the customers again.
