Sigh
This is gonna take more time that I thought..

The soft rustle of leaves outside the window was her favorite sound.
Y/N stared blankly at the board, where the teacher's chalk moved rapidly, spilling out words and numbers she couldn't quite grasp. Her eyes felt heavy, and her mind seemed to float away from the classroom.
She wanted to focus. She really did. But no matter how hard she tried, the words just didn't make sense. They blurred together, a jumble of sounds and syllables that felt so distant from her. She glanced down at her notebook, empty save for a few half-hearted scribbles that trailed off into the margins.

With a soft sigh, her gaze wander out the window.
Y/N's eyes drifted down to the school field below, where the Hakuho High School football team was practicing. From her vantage point, she could see the players running back and forth. She watched as they passed ball to each other and scored a goal. The rest of the team erupted into cheers, their voices carrying faintly through the open window.

Y/N rolled her eyes and lightly scoffed, thinking to herself,

Who wants to even see guys running after a ball?

It seemed silly to her, all that energy spent chasing something that would eventually roll away again.
Yet, as she continued to watch, she realized there wasn't much else to distract her from the class. The teacher's droning voice was like a lullaby, lulling her into a sleep.

She leaned against her desk, resting her chin in her hand, and allowed herself to watch a little longer, curiosity tugging at her despite her disinterest.

As Y/N's gaze lingered on the field, she recognized one of the players: Reo Mikage. He was hard to miss, with his confident stance and unmistakable purple hair that made him stand out even among his teammates. Reo was one of the popular kids at school, always surrounded by friends and admirers, his presence a constant buzz in the hallways. Y/N had seen him around before but had never really paid much attention.

Isn't he in my English class?

she wondered, vaguely recalling seeing him sitting somewhere near the front, always engaged and participating. It seemed fitting for someone like him—outgoing, sociable, and effortlessly charismatic. She watched as Reo gave a high five to a white-haired kid standing beside him, who seemed more reserved in comparison.

...Eh? Who is that?

she thought, her curiosity piqued for just a moment as she studied the white-haired boy. He didn't seem to fit the mold of the typical football player, with his laid-back demeanor and the way he barely reacted to Reo's enthusiasm.
Y/N quickly lost interest and shrugged it off. He was probably just another one of Reo's friends.

The sudden ringing of the bell pulled Y/N out of her thoughts, signaling the end of the class. She blinked, the rest of the students began to stir from their seats. The teacher wrapped up his lecture with a quick reminder of the homework, and the class rose in unison, bowing politely as he exited the room.

As she straightened up, she felt a strange pull to look outside again. Maybe it was out of habit, or maybe it was a lingering curiosity about the white-haired boy who had caught her attention for just a moment earlier.

When she glanced out the window, she was surprised to see that the football team was still on the field, but the players had scattered, some chatting amongst themselves while others practiced passing drills. What caught her off guard, though, was the sight of the white-haired boy standing still, apart from the others. He was looking up at the school building, and for a moment, it seemed like his gaze was fixed directly on her classroom window.
