Y/N sat in her last class of the day, feeling the weight of the afternoon settle over her. The classroom was warm and drowsy, and the soft hum of the teacher's voice seemed to blend into the background as she glanced down at her watch.

Only 10 minutes left until the bell rings,

she thought, a sigh escaping her lips as she rested her chin on her hand. The day had felt long, and she was eager to be done with it, to slip back into the comfort of her own space where she could finally relax.

Her thoughts wandered back to the rooftop incident, the unexpected encounter with Nagi and Reo. It was strange how a simple lunch break had turned into something so unexpectedly eventful. She still felt a bit embarrassed about giving up her lunch so easily, but she was also curious about Nagi—his sleepy demeanor, his weirdly casual attitude, she huffs lightly .

The minutes ticked by slowly, and Y/N found herself staring out the window again, her mind drifting away from the lesson.

As Y/N drifted deeper into her thoughts, the sudden ringing of the bell snapped her back to reality. She blinked, momentarily disoriented, before noticing that the teacher had already left the classroom.

A light smile formed on her lips, relief washing over her as she realized the school day was finally over. The tension in her shoulders eased, and she quickly began packing up her things, eager to leave.

Within moments, Y/N was out of her seat and heading towards her locker. The hallway buzzed with the usual after-school energy—students chatting about their plans, lockers slamming shut, and footsteps echoing down the corridors. She weaved through the crowd, her mind already focused on getting home and enjoying some much-needed quiet time.

As she reached her locker and started putting away her books, she felt a small sense of accomplishment. Another day down, and now she could unwind and recharge. She took a deep breath, already imagining the comfort of her room and the peace that awaited her.

Or so she thought.

As Y/N walked past the teacher's lounge, she heard the creak of the door opening. She turned her head slightly and saw her class teacher step out, scanning the hallway. Their eyes met, and the teacher offered a warm smile before gesturing for her to come over.

Without thinking twice, Y/N approached.

"Yes, miss?"

she asked politely, trying to mask her internal groan.

The teacher's smile remained as she spoke,

"L/N, could you please do a little task for me? I need 47 copies of this document printed out."

She held out a piece of paper for Y/N to take.
Y/N stared at the paper, dumbfounded.

Forty-seven copies?

She could feel her limited patience slipping away. Before she could fully process what was happening or muster up the courage to decline, she found herself nodding.

"Sure"

she said quietly.
The teacher beamed, handing her the document.

"Thank you so much, L/N! I really appreciate it. The copier is in the staff room isn't working, so you can go to the library one."

Y/N took the paper with a forced smile, trying not to show her disappointment. She had been so close to escaping for the day, and now she was roped into another task. She sighed inwardly as she turned and made her way toward the staff room, clutching the paper like a reluctant courier.
