* Chapter Sixty Six *

Author's POV:

"Oi oi girlies!" Sarah booms as Cheryl unlocks the front door to let her in. 

"Alright babe?" The brunette asks. 

"I'm wonderful, let's get this party started!" 

Cheryl closes the door behind her loud friend and rolls her eyes as she follows her towards the kitchen. "Where's Kimberz?" 

"She's in the garden with Sky, she's sorting everything out for the barbecue."

"Of course she is." Sarah comments. "She's just gotta control the cooking!"

"Hm, you know what she's like! Didn't Nads come with you?" Cheryl questions. 

"Er... no? Why would Nadine come with me?"

"Oh, no reason..." Cheryl mumbles as Sarah looks at her suspiciously. Their awkward moment is saved when the doorbell sounds throughout the house. "I'll head outside then!" Sarah shouts as she walks off quickly. 

"Chez!" Nicola squeals as she walks into the house holding a bottle of wine.

"Oh god, you've brought alcohol too." Cheryl groans. 

"Well, I couldn't turn up empty handed could I."

"I guess not, don't drink too much though, we have to have our wits about us so we can investigate Nadine and Sarah." The Geordie laughs as Nicola laughs too. 

"What are yous two laughing about?" Nadine shouts as she comes up the driveway. "I could hear yous laughing from down there!"

"Oh, nothing! Hurry up, Kimba's already started on the food!" 

"Alright, keep your hair on!" Nadine exclaims.

Cheryl's POV: 

I follow Nadine and Nicola through the house and into the garden. "Oh my God!" Nicola shouts. "You and Sky are wearing matching outfits." She comments as she sees Sky for the first time tonight.

"We are." I confirm as I take a seat at the table. 

"That's too cute, I'm going to have to snap a photo of you both together later." She grins. 

"Look." I mutter. 

"What?" She asks. 

"Nadine's gone straight over to Sarah..."

Nicola quickly turns around in her seat to look at our friends, Nadine is walking around the garden next to Sarah with a hand around her waist and is whispering something into her ear. I watch as our Irish friends nuzzles her face into Sarah's next and Nicola shoots back around to look at us. "It's true isn't it?"

"It sure looks like it." I laugh. "They're not being very subtle are they?"

"Sarah and Nadine... I can't believe it." Shut mumbles.

"Hey Auntie Nic!" Sky calls as she walks over to us with a plate of burgers.

"Hey you!" She greets as Sky gets closer. "You look so cute in that outfit."

"Thanks. Mam chose it!"

"I know. She told me, don't get it dirty! I want to take some photos of you both later!"

"I won't." She smiles. 

"You coming to sit with us bubba?" I ask. 

"I'm just helping Mum bring the food over, I won't be long."

"Alright babe." I agree. I watch her walk back over to Kimberley and smile as I watch them both interact. 

"God, you've got it bad Chez." Nicola quips.
