Klaus brought Alice home and then headed to deal with Agnes right away. She was gonna pay for what she had wanted to do. Elijah was still handling a certain business for him. However, it was a matter of time before he was going to come.

"You're a piece of work, Agnes," Klaus admitted. "But guess what? I'm a piece of work myself. You know I contemplated leaving bits of you artfully arranged outside your family's tomb? I thought it would leave a fitting message." Agnes stared at him hatefully trying to look brave. Klaus vamp-sped to her and picked her up.

"Don't touch my family," he threatened.

"Leave her," Elijah spoke up at the entrance to the church. Klaus turned Agnes around and held her under her neck. "I gave my word," Elijah added.

"You tend to give your word at the most inopportune times, brother," Klaus commented. "What took you so long anyway? I thought you were gonna do it yourself. One little snap and it's toodle-oo Agnes."

"Niklaus, do not make another move," Elijah warned and walked closer. "I will do what I think is right. Now do as I said and leave her." For a while, Agnes had a little bit of faith that she was going to make it.

Klaus let go of Agnes. "My noble brother. How's that for personal growth, eh?" Klaus mocked. "Like always, you spoil my fun."

"Oh, not necessarily," Elijah said looking at Agnes. "I swore you would not die by my brother's hand. I said nothing of my own." Sophie had begged Elijah to stop Klaus from killing Agnes. She was their last elder. Elijah had promised to her.
Elijah vamp-sped to Agnes and grabbed her neck. "No one hurts my family and lives." With a swift movement, he snapped her neck. Agnes' body fell lifelessly to the cold ground. He turned around to leave, "No one." He left. Klaus smiled proudly.

I woke up in my bed. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I remembered what had happened the other night, but immediately pushed it out of my mind. I needed something to eat. I stood up and went downstairs. Klaus and Elijah were reading in the living room. I walked by and headed into the kitchen.
I stared into the fridge and sighed slightly. It was chock-full of blood bags. Of course I needed blood, but I wanted something normal for once; perhaps cereals with milk.

"Good morning." I leaned backwards to see Elijah leaning against the doorframe.

"Hey," I smiled. Elijah walked over to the cupboard the same moment Rebekah walked in  by the back entrance from the outside.

"Listen, I really appreciate the fridge full of blood, but don't we maybe have something else? Like milk for example?" I questioned.

"We'll get in on the grocery list. Along with bleach," Rebekah said and was gone. I didn't know why she needed the bleach, but whatever.

"I do hope you had everything during my errands," Elijah spoke up and approached me.

"During your errands as you like to call it, when you were gone and I practically didn't see you, when you all lied to me about this 'weapon' Marcel possesses, who is actually a girl and a very powerful witch, I was nearly murdered by witches who were convinced that my babies are devils or whatever," I explained. "So yeah, maybe you shouldn't give promises you can't keep," I referred to his promise about keeping me safe. He didn't say anything and poured the cereals into a bowl. Then he reached for the milk he had probably brought along with the bowl. I had only not noticed.

"Oh... milk." Elijah was pouring milk into the bowl until I stopped him, "That's enough." I looked up at him, but he was already looking at me. We held an eye contact for a while.
