It was a foggy day and you were sitting in the backseat of the car. It was the first of September and you were on your way to board the Hogwarts Express for the very first time. Sirius was driving and Remus sat beside him. They were talking old memories from their time at Hogwarts together with the rest of the Marauders.

R: Oh I hope James didn't pack the Marauders map in Harry's trunk!

S: But wouldn't that be fun Moony? So our legacy continues, I mean Harry does have potential! said Sirius with a smirk on his face.

R: I don't think we should encourage our children to become rule breakers, Padfoot! Besides I think Harry will do just fine on his own, without a map. It's after all in his blood. Remus responded and gave his husband a meaning look. They both chuckled.

You looked out the window and saw the town pass by while fiddling with your shirt sleeves. For a while you had felt this lump in your stomach whenever thinking about Hogwarts. What if you didn't make any friends or failed your classes. What if you disappointed your fathers!

Sirius looked at you through the rear view mirror.

S: You're awfully quiet today pup, are you nervous about beginning your first year at Hogwarts?

You gave him a short nod because how would you explain what was going through your mind? It was just a chaos of thoughts, making you feel dizzy.

About a month ago you, Harry, your dads, James and Lily went to Diagon Ally together to buy all of your school supplies and clothes. It had been fun and exciting little trip since you had only been there once before. Your favorite moment was buying your first wand at Ollivander's. The narrow wooden stick in your hand was a feeling like no other.

Harry were still very excited about Hogwarts but you didn't feel the same way. Ever since Diagon Ally, the lump had been there and made you feel all worried about school.

Remus pushed the luggage cart in front of him with your trunk on it, your initials in gold letters shone in the sunlight. Sirius walked behind with an arm around you.

When approaching platform 9 3/4 you stopped and just stared at the wall. Remus became aware of the situation and knelt down in front of you.

R: Cub, what's going on? Remus asked you calmly

J: I-I can't, I just can't! you said and your eyes began to fill with tears.

J: What if I don't make any friends or fail my classes. What if I disappoint you, I don't know any magic.

R: Oh Honey, Remus said with that fatherly warmth in his eyes. He took you in his arms and held you as tight as he could. When you calmed down a bit Sirius put his hands on your shoulders, making you look at him.

S: Juliet Marlene Lupin-Black there is nothing in the world that can make you disappoint me or your father! We love you so very much and we are so darn proud of you! You just do the best you can and that will always be good enough, alright?

You nodded and smiled up at him. When he said that you felt the lump in your stomach dissolve and exchange to nervous butterflies. The anxiety was gone!

R: We'll do it together! said Remus while grabbing your hand, Sirius took your other and the three of you ran through the barrier. When having a dad at each side of you, it wasn't so scary after all!

R: You think she'll be all right? Remus said with a look of worry on his face

S: I know she will, it's after all our daughter we're talking about! Sirius answered and looked at him.

R: You're right, I was just being silly. Remus leaned his head on his husband's shoulder. Sirius kissed his cheek as they watched the dark red steam locomotive disappear into the fog.
