Chapter 1:- Pakhi's Pain

Virat, Samrat, and Sai entered the Chavan house. Everyone was sitting in the hall and talking. As they saw Samrat, a huge smile came on everyone's face, including Pakhi's.

Maybe the thing was that she was jealous of Virat and Sai, and now it was about to be fulfilled; her husband would be by her side. Everyone was talking to Samrat, sharing their grief about how much they all missed him over the years.

Pakhi wanted to meet Samrat and talk to him, but Samrat was completely ignoring her, breaking her more and more. Pakhi was trying her best, but she wasn't getting the same response from Samrat, which pained her heart.

In all of this, Virat pulled Pakhi aside, and Sunny was with him.

"See, Pakhi, now that Samrat is back, I don't need any drama. You should live your life happily with him," Virat warned Pakhi.

"Virat, I am not a robot that will agree to you just because you say so. I am also happy that Samrat is back, and now I want to start afresh with him," said Pakhi genuinely.

"Pakhi, I know you are still obsessed with me, and it will be difficult for you, but please try to understand. I don't want our relationship to be in front of Samrat," said Virat in an unusual tone, hurting Pakhi.

"Virat, enough! You were worried about our relationship coming forward, not me. I was ready to tell everyone on the haldi day itself, so don't blame me for all this. You were the one who made me a promise that I wouldn't love anyone except you. Pakhi, I won't marry and won't give any space to anyone in my heart. It wasn't me, so stop blaming me," said Pakhi, shouting at Virat.

"Pakhi, Virat..." Sunny was about to say something, but Pakhi shouted, her nerves frayed.

"Just shut up, Sunny! Virat and I are talking, and this isn't connected to you, so you are no one to speak between us," scaring both Sunny and Virat.

"And about the promise, I have proof," said Pakhi, opening a recording on her phone and showing it to Sunny. As this was all going on, one more person noticed and heard everything.

Her heart ached after hearing everything, and whatever Virat and Pakhi talked about, she also heard the recording and was trying to control her tears. She quickly went to her room and locked it from the inside.

I always thought Pakhi didi was at fault, but I never realized that Virat sir also had an equal contribution in that. Seriously, Virat sir asked to marry his brother when he knew Pakhi didi loved him from the bottom of her heart. I can now really understand how Pakhi didi must feel when she sees me close to Virat sir; she must be crying every night. Sai cried, thinking about Pakhi.

Sometimes, just because we see a scenario doesn't mean it is the truth from someone else's frame; it has a different story, and we need to look at and hear that story as well.

At night, everyone happily had dinner with Samrat and was talking.

"Now I think someone would focus on her husband" said taunting Ashwini to Pakhi. Pakhi's heart pained hearing this and Sai's to.

Pakhi didn't say anything and went to her room. At night, everyone went to their respective rooms. Pakhi didn't understand how to talk to Samrat, but Samrat said that he wanted to talk to her. Pakhi had a smile upon hearing this.

"Yes," Samrat said, smiling.

"Pakhi, I won't make the topic go here and there; I want to get straight to the point," said Samrat, shocking Pakhi with what he wanted to discuss.

"I know about your and Virat's relationship. Virat is happy in his life, and I know you would also want to move on, so I am ready to give you a divorce," said Samrat, breaking Pakhi's last hope.

"Samrat, I want to start a fresh life with you," said Pakhi, filled with hope.

"But I can't live with a girl who loves my brother. Because of you, I have to leave my family. I don't want to live with you anymore," said Samrat, looking straight into her eyes.

Pakhi was about to say something, but Samrat left the room angrily, and he was on the terrace.
