The next day, everyone was present at college. Two buses were there, and four teachers were accompanying them. In one bus, Pakhi and Ishaan were seated, while the other two teachers were in the other bus. Pakhi was sitting in a seat with a smile covering her face.
As she was looking around, she saw someone sitting on the other side.
"I need to sit with you," said the person in a sarcastic tone while looking at him.
"Yes, Ishaan sir, this first seat is for the teachers only," said Pakhi, looking at him with a smile as Ishaan sat in the chair.
"Don't you think you smile a lot? People smile for two reasons: No. 1, they have no problems in life, and life is going as per their plan, which isn't possible; and No. 2, if the person has suffered a lot of pain in life. So, in which category do you fall?" asked Ishaan, looking at Pakhi with seriousness in his voice. Pakhi couldn't say anything and just glanced at him.
"Maybe both reasons could be there in someone's life," said Pakhi in a serious tone, looking out of the window.
As the seriousness was covering the atmosphere, they heard the students fighting over the songs.
"Why is everyone making this much noise?" said Ishaan in a strict tone.
"You are so boring! Of course, we are going to Shimla, and we are here to enjoy. What will we do? Nothing? We will reach there," said Pakhi, looking at him while Ishaan just made faces and rolled his eyes.
"Stop rolling your eyes!" said Pakhi angrily. Soon, the students played a song, and everyone was enjoying and dancing around while Pakhi was recording and clapping for them. They were having a great time, and soon the students pulled Ishaan and Pakhi in as well.
"It's not safe," said Ishaan in a serious tone.
"Everything is safe when life is to enjoy! Enjoy it to its fullest," said Pakhi, looking at him. Ishaan thought for a while and then started enjoying with everyone.
For the first time, he was enjoying—enjoying to his fullest. The smile on his face was something real, which wasn't seen easily. Pakhi recorded everyone and was enjoying a lot.
As they were dancing, Pakhi's leg slipped, and she was about to fall, but Ishaan held her by the waist and pulled her closer to him. They both shared a cute eye lock, and for a minute, they could sense the pain in each other's eyes and were lost in it. Soon, they heard the cheering of the students and came back to their senses.
"Sorry," said Pakhi with a small whisper, while Ishaan just nodded. They all sat in their respective seats.
"Ma'am, let's play antakshari," said a girl with a smile.
"Sure," said Pakhi, looking at everyone.
"So, ma'am, you start with 'P'," said another girl with a smile, while Pakhi also smiled.
"Pal pal dil ke paas," Pakhi sang this song.
As Pakhi sang the song, Ishaan was lost in the music for a minute and closed his eyes. Some memories came to his mind, but as he opened his eyes and looked at Pakhi, he was just staring at her.
Soon, many more people sang songs, and everyone enjoyed themselves a lot. Eventually, they reached the hotel they had booked in Shimla.
Meanwhile, at the hospital:
"Hi, Dr. Joshi," said Ayaan with a smile as he entered the cabin.
"Hi, Dr. Vardhan," said Sai with a smile.
"So, you are definitely accompanying us for the health camp that is going to Shimla in two days?" asked Ayaan with a smile while Sai looked at him.
"Are you serious? We are going to Shimla?" asked Sai with excitement, while Ayaan looked at her with amusement as Sai was looking like a small kid while saying so.
"So excited! Any specific reason?" asked Ayaan, looking at her while Sai just smiled.
"Actually, Pakhi di has also gone to Shimla, so I would be able to give her a surprise. That's why I am excited," said Sai, while Ayaan was just adoring her. At that moment, he didn't know why, but he found himself pulled towards Sai with each passing second. Was he falling in love? His mind always questioned.
"By the way, what a coincidence! My brother is also in Shimla for his college trip," said Ayaan with a smile while Sai was amused at the moment.
As they talked, they realized that their siblings were in Shimla and were teaching at the same college. Soon, they both became engaged in a conversation, and Ayaan was completely lost in Sai's beauty.
As Ayaan was glancing at Sai and talking to her, a nurse entered, and Ayaan's trance broke.
"Sir, ma'am, there is an emergency case," said the nurse in a worried tone, while Sai and Ayaan quickly left the room to check on the person. As they entered the operating theater, they were shocked; the person was in critical condition at that moment.
"It's risky to treat him," said Sai worriedly, while Ayaan looked at her.
"Nothing is risky, Dr. Joshi, until we have the confidence to do it," said Ayaan, looking at her, while Sai also looked at him.
"Please, Dr. Joshi, you need to save this patient. His daughter has only him in her life; she will be all alone if he isn't safe," said Ayaan, looking at Sai, while Sai was shocked to hear this.
As they were talking, the person asked them to call someone inside.
As the person entered the room, the individual on the stretcher looked at him emotionally.
"If I don't survive, please take care of my daughter," said the person in a crying tone, lying on the stretcher, while Sai was completely shocked by this sight, as her story was repeating in front of her.
"Sure, Uncle, I will," said the other person emotionally.
"Don't act stupid; nothing will happen to you, so stop making foolish promises. This promise could destroy your daughter's life," said Sai angrily, while Ayaan looked at her confusingly.
Soon, the people left, and Sai and Ayaan started treating the patient. Ayaan was shocked by Sai's behavior, as he had never seen her so aggressive, especially with a patient.
Soon, the surgery was completed, and the person was saved. Everyone was really happy, while Sai sat in her cabin, remembering beautiful memories of hers and Virat's.
