Whereas at Vardhan House, everyone was seated at the dining table.
“Ayaan, Ishaan, you both are growing older. Why don't you both find good girls for yourselves? Or else I will start finding someone for you,” said Vandana, looking at both of her sons.
“Mom, you know that I don't believe in these kinds of relationships,” said Ishaan, having his food.
“Ishaan, it was the past, and one should forget the past and start moving on in life,” said Vandana, looking at him.
“Some people teach us lessons that nobody deserves your trust except your family,” said Ishaan with a painful smile.
“Ishaan, when you find the right girl, you will understand how beautiful love is,” said Vandana with a painful smile.
“Where is Papa?” asked Ayaan to calm down the situation.
“He is in Delhi and will be returning with Aditi soon, so you both don’t worry. Just have your food and sleep,” said Vandana, looking at Ishaan again.
“Meera, why did you make my son like this? My son, who was the happiest one and made everyone smile, has lost his own smile,” said Vandana with a painful expression.
"Ishaan, one needs to move on in life. Moving on in life is very important," said Ayaan, keeping his hand on Ishaan's shoulder.
"You won't get anywhere, Ayaan, as you haven't fallen in love. When love gives heartbreak, it breaks you," said Ishaan with his painful smile.
"Bhai, I am a doctor, and there is medicine for each and every problem. You will also get your medicine soon," said Ayaan with a smile.
After some time, they both went to their respective rooms and slept. The next day, Ayaan was working in the hospital when his eyes fell on Sai. He saw her attending to a patient with a lot of smiles, and his eyes were stuck on her; he was just watching as if time had stopped for him.
"She is cute and strong as well. Yesterday, I saw how she talked to that inspector, but how is she related to him?" thought Ayaan, his mind focused on Sai.
"Dr. Joshi, we have to see this patient," said Ayaan, coming towards her.
As they both were going to see the patient, someone pushed Sai unintentionally. Sai was about to fall, but Ayaan held her by the waist and pulled her closer. Ayaan's heart started to race; their eyes met, and they both were lost in the moment. After some time, Sai realized their position and asked Ayaan to make her stand straight.
"Sorry," said Ayaan, looking at her.
"Thank you for letting me fall," said Sai, standing straight.
"I will never let you fall," said Ayaan, looking into her eyes while Sai just looked at him.
"Come, let's see our patients," Dr. Vardhan said, Sai with a smile.
"Sure, Dr. Joshi," said Ayaan with the same smile, and they both started checking on their patients.
At college:
"Patralekha ma'am and Ishaan sir, you both have joined the college in the middle, so we are planning a small trip for the students to Shimla. You both and some other professors will be going along with you. I think you may have no problem," said the dean, looking at them.
"We don't have any problem, sir," said Pakhi and Ishaan together, looking at each other.
"That's perfect, Pratralekha ma'am," said Ishaan, looking at them.
"Sir, when do we have to leave?" asked Pakhi, looking at the dean.
"You will be leaving tomorrow at 11 AM, so you both should arrive by 10 AM," said the dean, looking at them with a smile.
"Sure, sir," said Ishaan and Pakhi together, and for a moment, they both looked at each other again.
The day at the college and hospital went perfectly. Pakhi was at home packing her stuff.
"Are you going somewhere, Pakhi didi?" asked Sai, looking at her packed things.
"Yes, Sai, I am going to Shimla for a week for a college trip, so I am packing my stuff to leave. I will miss you," said Pakhi with a small smile.
"I will also miss you. How will I spend this house all alone?" said Sai, looking at her.
"See, I will also be doing it when you go for your medical camp, so I have to go, and I will surely send you all the images," said Pakhi with a smile.
"Can't I come with you?" asked Sai, looking at Pakhi.
"Join college," said Pakhi, and went to sleep.
"Pakhi didi," Sai said and went to her room to sleep.
**Vardhan House**
"Ishaan, you said yes to a college trip. This is surprising! Who else is joining you?" asked Vadana, looking at Ishaan.
"Maa, I am going with one more professor. What was her name? Wait, yes, Patralekha, and some more professors are going," said Ishaan, having his food.
"Patralekha, such a beautiful name! The girl is lovely," said Vadana.
"Bhai, who is this Patralekha?" asked Ayaan, looking at Ishaan.
"Leave that. I have to do packaging as well, and I am leaving tomorrow, so bye, goodnight," said Ishaan, looking at them and leaving.
"Mom, I wish Ishaan finds a life partner on this trip," said Ayaan with a smile.
"I don't know why, but I think this Patralekha is a good choice for my Ishu," said Vadana with a smile.
"Hope so! Ishaan can have all the happiness in his life that he wants," said Ayaan, and after some time, they both also went to sleep.
