Waking up with a throbbing feeling inside of his head, Lan Xichen was the first one to be conscious. He was stunned at the scene in front of him after standing up. People were on the ground but with no blood on sight. Lan Xichen continued to observe his surroundings untill he saw Jin Guangyao standing beside with a beaten up Wei Wuxian.
Lan Xichens eyes grimmaced at the sight of Wei Wuxian. He then turned to Jin Guangyao with his usual calm demeanor. "A-Yao..."
Jin Guangyao with an uncanny smile went towards Lan Xichen. "Do not worry Er-ge. Wei-Gongzi is restrained and has been quiet for now." Lan Xichen was still unsure until he heard from Jin Guangyao. He sighed at the sight of the beaten up man.
"Such a waste of talent, became such a monster."
Wei Wuxian flinched at the comment but stil was silent. He was tied up in a magical rope to not be broken by powerful beings.
After a while, the other were now waking up with a headache. Jiang Cheng who was checking on Jin Ling before himself finally finished. He turned to the quiet figure and with a furious expression he stormed to the poor man and kicked him in the chest. Making Wei Wuxian with a yelp in turn, he landed onto the floor, his raven hair flowed as his red ribbon was loosened up.
"Wei Wuxian! You really are a disgrace to this world! You are a fucking monster!"
Jiang Cheng with infuriating anger shouted at Wei Wuxian while pointing at him with his index finger. His words hit Wei Wuxian like a sword stabbing him a hundred times in the heart.
Wei Wuxian turned to the side to see Lan Wangji. He smiled at him but was replied with disappointment and disgusted expression in Lan Wangjis eyes. Wei Wuxians heart then really broke to pieces like glass shattered across a floor. His smile faded away and tears forming into his eyes. He cried quietly as he got verbally abused by Jiang Cheng.
Other Clans then was inside the Guanyin Temple, stunned by the scene in front of them.
"Wei Wuxian. You really are cocky and arrogant for a man like you. Never mind a man—- You could be a monster! You murdered so many people and just care about your own person and those Wen Dogs! I should have killed them when I first went there."
Jiang Cheng said with his fist tightly together. Wei Wuxian snapped at the last comment. He laughed out on the floor, curling up as he laughed.
"You fucking lunatic. You are really like Mo Xuanyu now."
Wei Wuxian still laughing and stood upright as he was still tied up. The other clans then stood and ran to surround him with their swords in her hands.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA! What a fucking disgrace am I? Yes! Yes I am! You know why? Because I am different from all of you hypocrites."
Wei Wuxian snapped and still chuckling between his words "Before you say anything, I am different because I am just a selfless man who was just trying to help other people. Unlike you hypocrites, you just help people when needed, or that they have money or importance to life."
The people were offended at his words a d one man stood forward. "Wei Wuxian! You Selfless? I beg to disagree with you!" One man said. Another then came up. "Yeah! You murdered many people just to have revenge for those Wen Dogs! People are innocent too!"
"Yeah! Those people were innocent!"
Wei Wuxian laughed yet again his hair over his eyes. "Talk all you want bastards, you can never know what is my life yet."
"We dont care about your life!" One man said. And Sect Leader Yao came forward now. "Yiling Patriarch, we dare to say that but we really dont care about your life. But your crimes are just unforgivable to us! Even to the higher ups in heaven! We even may just kill you!"
Other people the raised their swords up and high to low as they chant 'Kill him! Kill him!' over and over again. Wei Wuxian then just can only stay silent as he laughed quietly. But the chanting stopped as a man came forward too.
Wei Wuxian was curious on why they stopped chanting and he looked up. He could barely see with his vision blurred and his hair in the way. But it soon cleared up and...It was Lan Wangji.
His eyes softened at this person. But Lan Wangji has a cold and stoic face. He patted the head of Wei Wuxian. Oh how he wanted more before Lan Wangji grabbed his hair and cut it all of in one ho with Bichen. Wei Ying was baffled and looked at him. With tears in his eyes. Lan Wangji refrained to give up to him. He whispered to Wei Wuxians ear.
"I cant believe that I fell for someone this evil. I should have never met you."
Wei Ying heard his heart broke and shattered again by his words. It hurted more than Jiang Chengs and was only left with his head down and crying with a smile on his face.
"Alright. Whatever you want Lan Zhan."
Lan Wangji with disgust in his eyes then let the cutted raven hair of Wei Wuxian and went back to his rightful Clan. Lan Qiren who was relieved to see Lan Wangji out of his hypnotized by Wei Wuxian was gone and let him get through.
Jin Guangyao who was behind the crowd smiled with sinister emotion. He later changed his expression and went back to his fake kind and sweet self.
"All right now everybody, why cant we just take mercy on this poor man?"
He said with his hand reaching out to Wei Wuxian. But he was ignored. He sighed and looked around. "I shall first...imprison Wei-Gongzi, and think of a way to get away from our world eh?"
The other clans were unsure of his answer, but Sect Leader Yao then said this; "Yes, yes...this matter must not let go so easily by just killing him once again. We leaders of our clans need to discuss this with further understanding and resolve."
People agreed to the terms of Sect Leader Yao and they captured Wei Wuxian with the fellow Jin disciples dragging Wei Wuxian in to the cold cave with jail bars reaching from top to bottom. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Authors Note:
