This category features all supernatural creatures supernatural entities are categorized into different species or beings, each with their own unique characteristics, powers, and history. Here are the primary categories of supernatural entities in the universe

• Angels — Celestial beings created by God with wings and the ability to call upon divine forces against satanic witches. The Dark Lord, formally known as Lucifer Morningstar, is the first full fledged angel introduced in the series. Angels have also appeared in the form of mortal missionaries to hunt witches. Archangels are shown to be significantly more powerful than regular angels as shown when Mehitable and Jerathmiel need to call upon divine power to use theirs, Lucifer is able to use all of his even after falling.

• Archangels - The highest rank of angels.

• Guardian Angels - Angels that are the guardian over a person or a location. Raphael is guardian angel of Tabitha Tate, and Tabitha is the guardian angel of Riverdale.

• Banshees — Also known as the wailing woman, banshees are omens that appear when someone is nearing their death. Dressed in all black, a banshee appeared outside the Spellman Mortuary as Zelda Spellman was trapped between worlds. Another banshee appeared on the Mountains of Madness where Sabrina Spellman sacrificed herself.

• Crimson Avenger - He is the Red Angel of Death and was summoned by the Greendale Thirteen so that he would take the souls of the firstborns of Greendale, both mortals and witches. His face is skull-like, he has a black hat and leaves a trail of red smoke, he rides on a white horse. The Crimson Avenger is immortal and has a hunger for peoples' souls.

• Deep One — A sea-dwelling creature that was summoned by Faustus Blackwood.

• Demons — Malevolent supernatural beings that originate in Hell and seek to corrupt, torment and possess humans. However, the exact origins of demons remains unknown. So far, the series has featured sex demons, water demons, sleep demons, Yule demons, and parasitic demons.

• Devils - Devils are personifications of evil. People can sell their soul to a devil in order to have their wish granted. The Greendale Thirteen tell Sabrina that only the most powerful beings, devils, can summon hellfire, suggesting that they are high-ranking beings in Hell. Lucifer Morningstar, the king of Hell, has been described as a devil. Louis Cypher is a devil who has owned peoples' souls in Rivervale, and has made deals with Percival Pickens and Pop Tate.

• Dweller - The Dweller is a being that lives in the Abyss. When a Witch astral projects, a Psychopomp will assume the witch is dead and either carry them off to the hereafter or tattle to the Dweller in the Abyss.

• Eldritch Terrors — Creatures that are older than gods. They are described by Howard as "Harbingers of the void. Old ones. Demons. Gods." Father Blackwood claims that they are more vast and cosmic than Lucifer.
• becomes a problem. The Dwy Ferch Geg is a bad-luck spirit.

• Familiars — Goblins who take on the shape of animals to better serve their witch masters. They have a special bond with the witch or warlock they serve, and die shortly after their masters. When not in animal form, goblins are long, black, clawed, humanoid entities capable of human speech before shapeshifting into an animal form.

• Gargoyles - Supernatural creatures that attempted to stop Ambrose Spellman and Prudence Blackwood from gaining the star's message in Galileo's city, they were presumably sent by Faustus Blackwood and the Judas Society. They are described as having stone bodies, hard claws, gray lips and granite fangs, and stone breats. They were susceptible to attack as the group of gargoyles who confronted Ambrose and Prudence were either decapitated, stabbed through the chest, had their legs cut off, or had their throat cut with their swords.
