"Okay, okay!" Barry stepped back, a slight sadness flickering in his eyes.

"Barry, it's not like I'm disappearing to another dimension or stopping an impending Crisis," Caitlin said softly, brushing her hand against his cheek.

Barry gave a small nod, placing his hand over hers. "No... no, you're right. You're just a phone call away."

"Gosh, why am I always the third wheel with you two? It's like every time I'm in the room, you both go all 'I love you, no, I love you more,'" Cisco interjected, waving his hands dramatically.

But Barry and Caitlin were already lost in each other's eyes, the rest of the world fading into the background.

"Earth to Snow and Allen-nevermind," Cisco muttered, rolling his eyes as he headed for the door. "I'll be working on some tech... or maybe playing Fortnite. I'll come back before Dr. Snow leaves." With that, he walked out, leaving them alone.

Barry pulled Caitlin closer, wrapping his arms around her waist. "I'm really going to miss you, Dr. Snow," he murmured, his voice low as he leaned in.

Caitlin smiled, threading her fingers through his hair. "It's only a week, Barry. And besides, you're the one with superspeed. We could explore Starling City together-you can catch up with your boyfriend... well, your platonic boyfriend," she teased, her chatter making him laugh as he traced gentle circles on her waist.

"What?" Caitlin asked, looking up at him, her brow furrowing in playful confusion.

"I just love your pointless rambles, Caity," Barry replied with a smile. "But don't you have a train to catch? Or a bus? Though, I could speed you there myself since, well... you've probably missed your transport by now."

Before Caitlin could respond, the door opened, and Harrison Wells walked in, his presence commanding the room.

"Well, well, well..." he drawled, an amused smirk playing on his lips.
