~i hate this place~
Kate's POV
Sitting in my room playing with toys I look over at my aquarium looking at the fishes swim around
I wonder if they every get bored of swimming in there every day of their life.. oh wait I didn't feed them yet!
I get up and grab the fish food, opening the lid of my aquarium before shaking in the food- wait.. it's empty.. oh
Ughhh I have to buy from an adult! Dandy specifically! I hate dandy he's always so cheerful! That's exactly why I hate the cartoon me! I'm not that cheerful anymore
I sigh grabbing my bag of tapes and heading to dandy's shop
"Hey dandy.. how much for fish food..?" I ask, hoping the prices are low looking up at dandy I can already tell they're not going to be low
He looks back at his self picking up a small bottle of fish food I shake my head pointing to the bigger one
I want to limit my trips here as much as possible so if that means I have to spend more on food for my fishes
That's fine.. sets the smaller bottle down and grabs the one I pointed to he smacks his lips before speaking
"This old thing? Hm.. 100 tapes" I look at him in shock I only brought fifty I know I probably should have brought more BUT 100 FOR FISH FOOD
"WHY IS IT SO EXPENSIVE? ITS FISH FOOD!" I scream stomping my foot he scowls at my screaming before putting on his fake cheerful face again
"Inflation. Now if you don't have enough I do have a job you could do for me it's just a small job nothing to worry too much about.. you just have to go to the lower floors and do a few machines" he speaks I groan
I hate those stupid floors but my fish need food so a sacrifice shall be made!
"Alright.. let me just get my fishes" I mutter walking to my room and grabbing my backpack aquarium I quickly head back over to the lobby
Dandy smiles ugh I hate him he leads me over to the elevator he motions for me to go in first, I shake my head he sighs walking in as I follow after before shoving myself in a corner facing him
I'm not letting any adult out of my sight. EVER. I fucking hate adults..
"Soo anything good happen recently?" Dandy asks trying to make small talk
"Anything that is important for you to know? No." I reply coldly I've never understood how dandy can act like everything is fine as he destroys everything he has
He sighs before the elevator door opens I walk out grabbing a few tapes and tossing them back at him he smiles
I hate that stupid grin. But oh well I walk over to the first machine I see wasn't far from the elevator so it wasn't hard to get to
I grip the valve muttering how much I hate doing this under my breath as I turn the valve I look over at dandy who is just keeping the things he calls twisted away from me.. it's nice of him but I know he's the reason they exist.. I think? I don't know I've never really asked him.. well I shouldn't worry too much about it I'm only a child I mean I'm five years old.. I think I grew up too fast..
Finishing the machine I go look for the next one picking up a chocolate bar on the way.. I could have picked up a lot of things but the gumballs have been there for how long? And I just don't like the yellow candy's.. oh! Right I almost forgot I collected a few research capsules too I can't read them that well but I know the names on them! Shrimpo and Jackie! Wait why is Jackie a twisted??
You know what I'm not going to worry about it too much he's a very hyper person and runs around a lot! So it doesn't surprise me that he's a twisted not one bit! I finally find the second machine finishing it and repeating the process of finding the machine though I didn't pick anything up when the the elevator door opens I rush in and I look back to see dandy running in I laugh at the way he runs, he turns his head at me and I just shrug while smiling
"I didn't know you could laugh Kate ." He spits his tone serious and strict I just giggle
"And I didn't know you could feel anything other than disappointment and happiness!" Okay so I may have judged dandy he isn't that bad but I still don't like him! He's annoying it's just funny when he gets mad! He just looks stupid!
"Well back to getting food for my fishes!" I say skipping out the elevator he sighs man he feels like my toon handler expect he actually taught me stuff instead of saying figure it out!
Maybe I could see him somewhat as a father figure but he needs to stop the ichor factory before I can do that fully!
Later I'm sitting in my room feeding my fish I only had to finish about 16 machines.. so four floors! It wasn't too bad I still hate that place though!
I'm going to take a nap goodnight fishes
