Chapter Three: Nya
It was supposed to be a normal day. Nya was supposed to train with her team, go stop some sort of petty crime, and participate in game night. And she did.
Until some sort of portal appeared in front of her when she went to go get some fresh air later that night.
She was going to call for the others, but she knew how soundproof the Monastery walls were. They couldn't have heard her if they tried.
Nya huffed angrily, fixing her posture. She had several choices in this matter. She could a) get the other ninja and Master Wu so they could help, b) get rid of it herself, or c) go through by herself. If she got the others, they'd try to talk her out of going through.
F.S.M, this was an awful idea. No wonder she wasn't the leader. She sighed, picking at the chipped nail polish on her fingers. She knew how impulsive she was, but she had made her decision.
Walking back to her bedroom, she rummaged through her and Jay's closet to find her gi. Once she found it, she quickly changed into it from her pajamas. Because she didn't want to disturb her teammates, she snuck back out to the training grounds through the window. She looked back at her room with longing, sighing sadly. 'Sorry, Jay,' she thought, turning to the portal in front of her, 'I have to do this.'
Technically, she didn't have to, she just wanted to, and her patience would allow her to do so. Nya knew how stupid of an idea this was, but she needed to know what was on the other side. She was hesitating, trying to stall for time until one of the others came out looking for her, but deep down, she knew they wouldn't come until she had been gone for thirty minutes, at least.
So, after about five or so minutes of trying to talk herself out of it, she jumped through the portal.
