8 | Genes, Am I Right?

Fems POV:

I sat on the couch watching "Fixing Good". It was midnight on a school day. Uzi and Doll, were already asleep, or so I thought. I heard footsteps and Doll walked out. "Fem... I need to tell you something." Doll says, walking towards the couch and sitting down. "What is it?" I ask, setting my Gedi bottle on the ground in front of me. "Do you know what a solver is?" Doll asked.

I quickly looked at her. "I thought so..." She says, she lifts her hand up and uses her solver. She uses her solver to pick up my Gedi bottle. She set it in her hand, and popped it open. Taking a drink, I stared as she did so. "I thought it was oil. I was correct." She says, before setting it back on the ground. "You have had the solver for years I'm guessing." Doll says, I shook my head.

"Recently, I just got it a few months ago. I drank oil since I'm a cannibal." I explain. "So you did it just because it... Tasted good?" Doll says, making me nod. "Oil has been a food source ever since I was made. So I just, like it I guess." I say, Doll stays quiet and hums. "Do you think I could use some of your oil supply?" She asks, I nod. "Of course you can." I said, nodding.

"Thanks..." She mumbles. "How long have you had it?" I ask, she stays quiet. "Ever since that Murder Drone killed... You know." She stops and can't even say her mom and dad. I nod, understanding where she's coming from. "You must of turned it on when you watched the Murder Drone kill Yeva and Triss." I said, she shook her head. "Just a bit before." She said.

"Before?" I question. "Yeah, I had figured it out that day in the morning. Mom and Dad kept me home to explain what it is. They also explained about the patch." She explained, I gave her a nod. "Did she explain about Camp?" I ask, Doll shook her head. "She explained that it was a code that turned violent. " Doll explained.

"She explained that I could get possessed by what her and Nori call the Absolute Solver." She says, I nod. "That's all I know." She says, I nod. "Well, let me explain a bit more in detail." I say, before showing her my solver. "The first solver case was back in I think the early days of drones. No Murder Drones, no space travel. Nothing." I start.

"In a manor was a human girl who loved to help drones that were still conscious. Back then drones were even more mistreated. Killed for even spelling wrong or cleaning wrong. Someone had gotten rid of a drone by the same Cyn. Cyn was broken and talked weirdly. If she wanted to giggle, she would say giggle. If she gave you an angry look, she would say she was." I say.

"I don't know much after that but Cyn killed a lot of people. JCJenson copied her code and gave it to many drones. Some got it, some didn't." I explain. "Mom, Dad, and Nori got it. Right?" She asked. I nod. "They did, your mom and Nori however got a version of the patch." I explain. "Many versions of the patch were made. The patch could get rid of Cyns control." I explained.

"Cyn had killed all the humans in sight of a building. before Nori and your mom got the patch. When Nori got the patch, Cyn in control of Nori had threw the patch down a whole to the core. The core however soon..." I stop. "Exploded." I say, Dolls eyes widen. "After it exploded, Nori and your mom found a back up copy of the patch. Then gave Yeva the patch." I said, leaning back.

"Then after a while, the Murder Drones were sent. And then you know the rest." I explain waving my hand. "Can I know more of what the Solver code does?" Doll asks, I nod. "Well, you know about being able to pick things up." I say, "What else?" I ask. "I know how to rotate things. That's it. Those two things." She says, shrugging.

"Well. You can blow things up from the inside. You can also double or triple things. You can create what we call a null, its a black hole. A small one or it can be a big one. You can also create sharp null that is super thin." I explain, spinning the solver. I used it to pick up the Gedi bottle and spin it again. "I'd show you but I don't want to blow our house up." I said, making her nod.

"I think that's it power wise. Um. However. If you don't drink enough oil. You might get some... Features. Such as wings and a tail." I explain, causing Doll to nod. "I already know about that. Mom told me." Doll says, nodding along. "Alright, I think that's it.' I say, thinking of anything else to explain to Doll. "Yeah I think that's it" I say, Doll hums.

"Alright, well. That's all I wanted to tell you." Doll says, being quiet. "I'll uh, let you watch the rest of your show." Doll says, standing up. "I'll uh, make you a small bottle of oil for school." I say, setting the Gedi bottle down and releasing the solver hold. "Yeah, I'd like that." Doll says, nodding. "Night Doll." I say, she hums. "Night Fem." She says, walking to her room.

I sigh and lean back. She had the solver. That's gonna make things a bit easier for Creators script. A lot easier actually. I leaned forward and grab the Gedi bottle. I screw the lid open and took a long sip. I swallowed it, a bit of oil going down my lip and off my chin. I wiped it off by chin and then closed the Gedi bottle. "This tastes good." I mutter.

"I prefer cranberry juice If I'm being honest. I wonder what the IRL term for a Gedi bottle is... Why not look up Yeti water bottle. You'll know what I'm talking about when you see it. :)"
