Sinead, 🤍 Hi, I don't know what to say to you lol, but I wanted to write you a letter to tell you how much you mean to me. I'm eleven years old, and can't even explain all of the bad things that I've been through, and your music has been the biggest healing gift for me. The words in each of your songs have made an impact on me, my favorite song of yours is unconditional. That song is one of the reasons I'm alive, the song soothes me and for some reason keeps me calm. I can't believe how much your music has done for me, how much it helps me everyday. At eight years old I lived through my nightmare, from being sexually assaulted down to being raped by my biological father, it left me scarred for life, but because of you I've found closure to forgive myself, I used to continually remind myself that it was all my fault but came to the conclusion that, that wasn't the case at all. You have been the best person, and the biggest inspiration to me. I know that my story may seem like it's all too much at once to take but I just wanted to thank you. I don't know what I'd do without your music, and without you, this was the best thing that ever happened to me, being traumatized by the events that happened to me made me feel like I wouldn't be okay, and I wouldn't ever be happy again, but thanks to you and your music, I'm allowed to be happy and I feel hope. I'm writing you this letter because I would love to be invited to your upcoming concert, it would be amazing. I'm so happy to be writing you, and I'm hoping that you could make my dream come true, and that dream is to meet you and watch you perform live. Sincerely, Averie 🤍

@ sineadharnett Y'all I'm literally crying, I received a letter from the cutest and my biggest fan. I'm flattered, and I'm beyond grateful for all of the support and love that I get, the cutest dm ever. So it's rare that I meet such young fans, especially those younger than sixteen, I'm going to be surprising her with tickets to my show. To hear and learn that you heal and feel soothing because of my music makes me feel so special. You are so brave, I didn't think that something happening could bring two people together, I'm so proud of you for sharing your story with me, for slightly opening up to me. I get messages from fans here and there all the time but never have I gotten a response like yours, you're so different from all of my other fans, and I honestly think that you are my youngest fan. I can't even imagine going through what you went through, and to know that you passed through and got through it is amazing.
