The morning after signing the contract, I arrived at work feeling a little disoriented. I was trying to convince myself that everything was normal, that I could just go about my day like I always did. But the truth was, nothing felt normal anymore. Not after what had happened yesterday.

I could still feel the weight of the pen in my hand as I signed that piece of paper, the ink drying as my fate was sealed. Yunjin's words echoed in my mind, "Don't wanna disappoint me, right? Just say yes." The way she had walked behind me, her presence so close, her hand guiding mine—it was a moment that had left me shaken, not just by the proposition itself, but by the way she had so effortlessly taken control of the situation, of me.

Now, as I sat at my desk, staring at the emails in my inbox, I couldn't shake the feeling that everything had changed. I tried to focus on my work, tried to bury myself in the tasks that needed to be done, but my mind kept drifting back to Yunjin's office, to the way she had looked at me, to the way she had led me to sign that contract.

It wasn't long before my phone buzzed on the desk, breaking my thoughts. I glanced at the screen, already knowing who it would be.

"Y/N," Yunjin's voice came through the line, calm and composed as always. "Come to my office."

A part of me had been expecting this, but it didn't make the request any easier to swallow. "Of course," I replied, my voice steady despite the anxiety bubbling inside me.

I hung up the phone and took a deep breath, trying to steady myself. I couldn't let her see how much this was affecting me. I couldn't let her know that I was still reeling from what had happened. With that thought in mind, I stood up and made my way to her office.

When I reached her office, I knocked lightly on the door before pushing it open. Yunjin was sitting behind her desk, her expression as unreadable as ever. She looked up as I entered, her eyes locking onto mine.

"Close the door," she instructed, her tone leaving no room for argument.

I did as she asked, stepping inside and shutting the door behind me. The atmosphere in the room was tense, charged with something unspoken.

"Sit," she said, gesturing to the chair in front of her desk.

I took a seat, trying to maintain a calm exterior even as my heart raced in my chest. Yunjin leaned back in her chair, studying me for a moment before speaking.

"We're going to my parents' house tonight," she said, her tone matter-of-fact.

Her words hit me like a punch to the gut. I stared at her, not quite believing what I was hearing. "Tonight?"

"Yes, tonight," she replied, her gaze unwavering. "They're expecting us for dinner. It's important that they meet you... as my fiancé."

I blinked, trying to process what she was saying. Meeting her parents? Already? I hadn't even fully come to terms with the fake marriage, and now I was supposed to meet her family and pretend like everything was real?

Yunjin must have seen the hesitation in my eyes because she leaned forward slightly, her expression softening just a fraction. "It's important, Y/N. They've been waiting a long time for this. They'll be thrilled to meet you."

Her words did little to calm the storm of emotions swirling inside me, but I knew there was no point in arguing. I had already signed the contract. I was already in too deep.
