THIRD PERSON POV

"SERIES BLACK MORPH BONDING SEQUENCE INITIATED," doctor k. says, as dillon prepares to morph into ranger series black.

he uses a different engine cell device to activate the morpher, as the bio technology takes its time to adjust to his physical form and dna. his morpher briefly glows in recognition, as the processing time comes to shorter close than expected.

seconds later, dillon completely morphs into ranger black. "series black online."

the other four rangers morph into their respective ranger suits themselves, and join dillon to congratulate him on staying on the team.

"congratulations," summer happily says, and takes his hand with gratitude.

scott pats him on the shoulder, as flynn congratulates the new ranger as well. "how does it feel?"

"it's a little tight, but—" dillon answers, but gets cut off by ziggy from across the room. he cheers outloud, as he jumps up from his seat and starts to clap.

several pieces of popcorn spill out from the container in his arm and onto the floor, as the others silently stare at him. "where did he get the popcorn from?" cameron murmurs.

"that has got to be the coolest thing i have ever seen in my—" he bends downward to place his popcorn in his chair, but stops mid-sentence.

his eyes go wide for a second, before he makes a 'stay right there' motion with his hand, as he pulls out his phone with his other one. "wait, wait! don't move. hold that pose - it's perfect!"

he starts to photograph the rangers, as he continuously orders them to stand and pose in certain ways.

"okay, ready?" he announces. everyone else just stands around in front of him, visibly uncomfortable.

"is he serious?" flynn discreetly says to scott.

cameron poses dramatically next to dillon, as if she was modeling for an international fashion magazine.

"uh, red? squeeze a little closer to black," ziggy instructs scott, before he takes the photo. "yeah, that's perfect. that's great!"

"this is just embarrassing," flynn says.

"pink, you were great," he compliments. "and— oh no. yellow, yo-your eyes were closed. let's try another one."

he turns around and lifts the phone up in the air, so that the camera captures himself and everyone else behind him.

"can he even see my eyes?" summer says, looking behind her.

ziggy looks behind him, and briefly points at dillon, grabbing his attention. "uh, black? can i see a smile? you're a power ranger, so have fun!"

"come on, take a shot already," dillon presses.

"alright, alright," ziggy assures. "pink, do a different pose this time. okay, ready?"
