"Ya'll, it's getting late you should go home." Crystal said, Aaron responded, "But I don't wanna! It's super dark and a long way home!" Sarah agreed and said, "how about a sleep over? Since, Aaron is right, it's dark and a very long way home." They all agreed to the sleep over, even Crystal, but she'd have to inform her mother about them being here. Crystal set off to her mother, while she told the others not to leave the room or their going to be caught in the royal castle, which their not exactly suppose to be there. Crystal walked along the hallways to her mother, "mom?" Crystal yelled, her mother heard her and said, "yes?" Crystal informed her, "can my friends stay? It's a long way home and it's super dark." Her mother smiled and said, "Sure, but do their parents know?" Crystal chucked and said, "no..." Crystal's mother had an idea and said, "How about writing a note to their parents? We can use owls to help deliver the note! How many days? " "really? Thanks mom! And uhhhh 2 weeks pls." Crystal said. Her mother said, "2 weeks only? What about 3 months instead?" Crystal surprisingly said, "Thank you, mom!" Here's the note.
Dear parents,
Can your child stay at the royal castle for 3 months? Right now, it is really dark and a long way home. And our children have not seen each other in years, so maybe they can spend some time together? Please accept my note and return with your answer, thank you.

Signed, your majesty.
Crystal's mother wrapped it into a scroll and let the owls hold it, saying." Deliver this to -------. Now, off you go owls. You too Crystal." "Ok, mom. Thank you again for letting my friends stay." Crystal said. Her mother replied, "of course! You all deserve it! Bye-bye, now." Crystal ran off smiling and saying, "Bye-bye!"
Crystal ran through the hallway and into her room, shouting, "Ya'll can stay for 3 months!" Collin was about to speak when Crystal cut him off. "And yes, Collin, a letter has been sent to your parents!" Collin asked, "How do you know I was going to say that?!" Crystal rolled her eyes, saying, "You're just too predictable, that's why." "Oh..." Collin realised. Crystal then said, "How about we tell horror stories?" They all exclaimed, "Yeah!"
Skip if you want.
Lily started with, "The story is about echoing,
In a small, remote village nestled between dark woods and rolling hills, there was an old, abandoned house that everyone avoided. Rumor had it that the previous owner, a reclusive man named Edward Craven, had vanished without a trace decades ago. The locals whispered that Craven had been obsessed with a peculiar experiment involving echoes.
One chilly autumn evening, a young woman named Lily, newly arrived in town, found herself drawn to the house out of sheer curiosity. The air was crisp, and the leaves rustled like whispers as she approached the dilapidated structure. The windows were boarded up, and the door creaked ominously as she pushed it open.
Inside, the air was stale, filled with the scent of mold and decay. Lily's flashlight flickered as she made her way through the darkened rooms, her footsteps echoing off the wooden floors. In the center of the main room stood a large, dusty mirror. It was an antique, with an intricate frame and a surface so tarnished that it looked like a dark void.
As Lily studied the mirror, she noticed something strange. Her reflection seemed slightly delayed, as though it was a moment behind her actions. She shrugged it off as an optical illusion and moved closer, examining the old mirror for any markings or clues.
