VIVIS POV
She laid there, cold on the ground, with her head in my arms, and the tears rolling down my face, I looked at her, hoping she would wake up and go back to being herself, but I knew I was only lying to myself.
"W-what do we d-do" I said crying looking at Dan, hoping he would have a solution. He sat there hanging his head in disappointment, knowing he couldn't protect her in time.
"We can still save her.." he said with a low tone but not knowing how. In what way could we help her? We couldn't take her to a hospital or some random person's house.
Thoughts ringed in my head struggling to think of any way to save her. Suddenly a thought came up in my head.
FLASHBACK
"ib-eul beollyeola"(open your mouth) mom looked at me smiling as she put a small candy in my mouth and took out a bandage from the first aid kit.
"Eomma geuge mwoyeyo?" (Mom what is that?) I said , I was 5. She took the bandage and wrapped it around my knee. "bungdae"(bandage) she said giggling.
"bungdaega mwoya?"(What's a bandage?)" I said looking at her tilting my head a little bit. "geu mabeob" (magic) she said looking at me with a soft smiling with her eyes squinting
"da-eum-e peulleihal ttae josimhaseyo"(be careful when your playing next time) she told me as she pat my head and went away.
FLASHBACK ENDS
There were some of my best memories with my mom, she and Dan were my escape from reality, my only escape from dad hurting us.
Suddenly, my eyes widened. "Mom."
I said looking at Dan. "Huh?" He said tilting his head." Mom- she's a nurse right?' I stared at him. His eyes widened, he knew I was right.
"We have to take her to mom" I said looking at Sophia "it's the only way".
He stared down for a second before he said "we need to tell her the truth then..right?" He said with a low voice, knowing mom would be disappointed.
"I think she deserves to know.." I said with my eyes looking down at the poor and hurt Sophia, I knew there was no time to spare. "How do we take her home? We can't take her in our bike" he said questioning me for a solution.
"Should I steal a car?" I said pointing out. "You wanna commit another crime?" He said reassuring me that I shouldn't be doing that. "We have no choice.. I'll check outside and come whether there's any vehicle we can use.. please take care of her" I said as I slowly passed her to Dan before going off.
I went outside, it was a dark city, with the moon shadowed by the clouds, the honking of cars by the nearby street, the wind flowing through the sky, and the sound of leaves falling to the ground.
I looked and walked around the little alleyways hoping to find any vehicle, preferably an abandoned one that still worked, with a key, but I knew for sure that would be impossible.
I knew I needed to rush in order to get Sophia to be alright, my patience was being tested, and I still couldn't see any vehicle or hope in sight. 'what do I do?' I thought to myself while letting out a deep breath while looking around.
I saw a peculiar looking van in the distance, black coated, windows tinted,with no sight of humans around. Curious, I went closer to it making sure there really wasn't anyone using that van, walking ahead with the hope that I accomplished my task.
