CHAPTER 22: GROUP 3: Group Poland (part 1 of 2)

NORA’S POV:
I looked at hawani get in her taxi, I waved as she waved back. I just shook my head and walked to the place my friend Celine had told me to stay at. Celine has been my friend for three years, she has been the best help I had ever needed.

Celine has been helping me since the day my own parents kicked me out the house, the reason being “your too sick, I can’t afford the money” I scoffed just by thinking abt it, cause I’m from a very wealthy family, my dad owns a famous company in Warsaw, the richest city in Poland, we were famous.

well at least my mom and my dad was, they hid me from the world, not letting the world see the daughter of the most famous company. After I was kicked out, the only person that could help me was Celine, she helped me by letting me have her condominium in Krakow.

she let me live there for free, Celine herself is from a wealthy family with loving parents, I first met her in kinder garden, we were the best of friends from kinder garden to 1st grade, then we lost contact, as she had to go to Poznań. She came back to Kraków for university studies and then bought a condominium here.

she had to sadly move back to Poznan for her marriage and now she has two wonderful twin girls and a husband… I look up at the name of the restaurant and looked left and right checking whether she had reached yet. I sighed when I didn’t find her car.

the grp still think I live with my parents, I never really thought of telling them. I didn’t want them to give me pity, the exact reason why I didn’t tell them abt my sickness. I heard a honk making me look to the side where it came from, It was her, Celine. I smiled and walked over to her.

“o mój Boże, wszystko w porządku? dlaczego do cholery dostałem od ciebie wiadomość, że jesteś w szpitalu?”(oh my god, are you okay? why the hell did I get a message from you saying you were in the hospital?) she asked me. “uhh, wolałbym o tym nie rozmawiać” (I would rather not talk abt it) I said.

“w porządku, w porządku” (alright fine) she said pouting, looking away. I chuckled, “hey! don’t do that, don’t worry its not that” I said. “alright alright, understood ma’am, teraz wsiadaj do samochodu” (now get in the car” she said as I nodded. I walked to the other side and got in, I looked to the back to see she was putting my luggage in the back

‘shit I forgot abt that… why do I keep doing that’ I face palmed shooking my face. The door opened and celine got in “why? What happened?” she asked me. “nothing I keeping forgetting abt my luggage, I kept my luggage in those grey basket during security check” I paused.

“ I was held back by the security and bro was telling me to get my luggage and my dumbass kept on thinking I had smthing like a weapon IN my luggage” I said with disappointment. she burst out laughing, “you’re still the same huh” she asked me making me chuckle. “I guesssss” I said, she shook her head and started the car and driving off to my condominium

TIME SKIP:
I got out of the car, as we reached the condominium. I looked at Celine who just got out of the car, she opened the trunk of her car and took my only luggage out and opened a small compartment in the car, she took the house key out and threw it at me, I caught it and asked “why did u keep it there?”

“cause I’m just like u? I forget things too, the day I dropped u at the airport. I kept the key in the compartment” she said making me chuckle at her silliness “głupek” (Dumbo) I said, “jesteś głupszy” (your dumber) she said rolling her eyes, “anyways I have to go, the kids are at home alone, poradzisz sobie sam, prawda??”(will you be alright alone?) she asked me.

I nodded “tak”(yes) I said she nodded and got in her car and drove off. I looked at the keys in my hands, and smiled, ‘ I’m so grateful to have her as my friend’ I turned around and walked to the elevator, the doors opened and as soon as I stepped inside I realized I kept my luggage outside.
