Night had fallen, and Seraphina was in her room, preparing to take a bath. The warm water, scented with a few drops of lavender oil, filled the room with a calming aroma that soothed her nerves. She was just about to undress when there was a knock on the door.

With a slight frown, she paused and called out, "Come in."

The door opened, and a young waitress entered, carrying a small bundle of letters. "Miss Seraphina, these just arrived for you. Some of the guests staying at the hotel sent them over."

Seraphina glanced at the letters, her curiosity piqued. She was new to the city, yet it seemed word of her presence had spread quickly. But she was in no mood to read them now. The bath was more appealing after a long day.

"Just leave them on the table, please," she instructed the girl, her tone polite but distant.

The waitress nodded and did as she was told, placing the letters neatly on the table by the window. Seraphina watched her leave, then turned her attention back to the bath.

As she undressed and slipped into the warm water, she allowed herself a moment of relaxation. The steam rose around her, and she closed her eyes, letting the tension melt away. But her thoughts kept drifting back to the letters. Who could have written to her? What did they want?

She sighed, knowing that curiosity would eventually get the better of her. But for now, she pushed those thoughts aside. The bath was her sanctuary, a brief respite from the relentless pace of her new life.

Seraphina leaned back, resting her head against the edge of the tub. The warm water lapped at her skin, and she tried to focus on the simple pleasure of the moment. But the letters on the table seemed to call out to her, a reminder that her presence here had not gone unnoticed.

After a while, she reluctantly rose from the bath, wrapping herself in a soft towel. She padded over to the table and picked up the letters, her fingers lingering on the fine paper.

"I suppose I should see what they want," she murmured to herself, finally giving in to her curiosity.

One by one, she opened the letters, her eyes scanning the elegant handwriting. Each one was a mixture of praise, curiosity, and subtle inquiries about her products and Invitation from young noble for a date around the city. The words were flattering, but Seraphina was wary. She knew that beneath the surface, there was always more to these letters than met the eye.

With a small smile, she set them aside, her mind already turning to how she would respond. The bath had rejuvenated her body, and now her mind was fully alert, ready to tackle the challenges ahead.

Seraphina dressed in a comfortable nightgown, her movements graceful and deliberate. As she prepared for bed, her thoughts lingered on the day's events and the days to come. The letters were just the beginning; she knew that much.

But for tonight, she would allow herself to rest. Tomorrow would bring new challenges, and she would face them with the same determination that had brought her this far.

With that thought, Seraphina slipped under the covers, her eyes closing as she drifted into a deep, dreamless sleep.

As the morning light filtered through the curtains, Seraphina stretched languidly in her bed, feeling the warmth of the sun on her skin. She had a lot on her mind, but the decision she had made the previous night still felt right. Today, she would go to the city center to inspect the store she planned to buy.

After a quick breakfast, she dressed in a simple yet elegant outfit, appropriate for the business she was about to conduct. Seraphina knew the importance of appearances, especially in this world where first impressions could mean everything. As she tied her hair back into a loose braid, she couldn't help but feel a twinge of excitement mixed with apprehension.
