8. Midnight creations

The morning sun streamed through the windows of Seraphina's hotel room, casting a warm glow over her belongings as she prepared to leave.

Today marked the first day she would truly step into her new life, moving out of the hotel and into the store she had purchased. The decision had been made, the documents finalized, and the ownership transferred. Now, she was ready to embrace the challenge ahead.

Seraphina didn't have much luggage, just the essentials, and most importantly, the products she had painstakingly crafted over the past month.

There were over 500 bottles, each filled with her handmade creams and elixirs. They represented not just her hard work, but the beginning of her dreams coming to life in this unfamiliar world.

But moving everything in one go was impossible. Fortunately, she had discovered a secure storage facility called Bolosk Vaults. It was a new concept to her, something akin to a post office back in her world, but instead of sending items, merchants used it to store their goods safely. The security was impeccable, with layers of enchantments protecting the vaults, ensuring that once something was stored there, it would be safe from theft or damage.

Seraphina had rented space at Bolosk Vaults for  seven bronze coin which is Seven day, a modest fee considering the peace of mind it offered. This system allowed her to keep her products safe while she moved the essentials into her new store. She felt a twinge of nervousness as she handed over her bottles to the vault keeper, a middle-aged man with a stern expression but kind eyes. He assured her that her products would be well taken care of, and she believed him.

With everything in place, Seraphina headed to her new store, she ordereda carriages as her product is too heavy for her to carry to her store. As she walked through the busy streets, she couldn’t help but marvel at how different this place was from her own world. The magic here permeated everything, influencing the way people lived, worked, and even thought.

Reaching her store, she took a deep breath and unlocked the door, stepping into her own house after arriving in this world. She finally felt a sense of belonging in her.

The next morning  after finalizing her move and settling into her new store, Seraphina prepared to tackle her next task: recruiting employees for her burgeoning business. With her products safely stored away, she realized she needed to post recruitment notices throughout the city to comply with local regulations.

Determined to get this done efficiently, Seraphina decided to visit Ronan, who was staying at a nearby inn. She hoped he could assist her with posting the recruitment posters on the city's notice boards, a requirement for all job listings.

As Seraphina entered the bustling inn, she approached the bar where a waiter was busy serving drinks. The inn was lively with patrons chatting and enjoying their morning meals, but Seraphina's focus was on finding Ronan.

“Excuse me,” she said, addressing the waiter. “Could you please tell me if Ronan is staying here?”

The waiter, glancing up from his tasks, gave her a polite nod. “Yes, he is. He’s in room 305, on the third floor. Just take the stairs up and follow the corridor to the right.”

Seraphina thanked him and made her way to the stairs. Her mind was already planning how to efficiently post the recruitment posters.

Seraphina arrived at room 305, she knocked on the door, and Ronan’s voice called out, “Come in.”

As she entered, she saw Ronan facing the window, intently polishing his armor. The sight was unexpectedly domestic, and for a moment, Seraphina was taken aback. Ronan, busy with his task, assumed the visitor was room service.
