Adrien's POV:

I have no idea where we're going. I hope we're going to be ok. I think my father hit Nathalie. She had a handprint on her face, and it was all red. Because of that, I'm really glad that we're getting away from him. Although I miss Marinette. And I'm not really sure why Lila's here. Apparently she's living with us now. I wonder why. She kind of looks like she's pregnant, too. I decide to ask her.

"Lila, are you... pregnant?" I ask. She freezes.

" We both are, Adrien. Your father decided to test pregnancy abortion pills on us, which not only didn't work, but they also stopped any other abortion processes from working, too". Nathalie answers for her, in a matter of fact way. "No more questions about that for now, though. We can discuss it at a later date, once we're settled in somewhere new".

I sit there, stunned, but I trust Nathalie, so I go back to counting cars.
