M.B509 "Muscovy" Fighter Interceptor: The M.B509 is the result of a rushed interceptor program where one of the competing manufacturers decided to just take two of their most successful fighter frames and glue them together. And so the "Muscovy" was created and it perfomed better than anyone ever expected. The now four jet engines gave it insane thrust allowing a very high top speed, acceleration and climb rate while the other fuselage on the right side of the plane had the cockpit removed and had fuel tanks, electronic equipment and a new radar installed making it one of the most capable planes available. A drawback was that it wasn't designed to carry bombs and could only carry external fuel tanks if needed and a few rockets but they were not often if ever used. So it focused on air combat and it can do that very well. Armed with 4x 23mm cannons, up to 14 mounts for air-to-air missiles and the advanced aformentioned radar made the M.B509 a truly formidable foe on the battlefield as it was capable of being basically a really fast missile truck. The plane had two crewmembers. 1x pilot and one operator who handled most of the electronic equipment, radar and missiles, but in an emergency could take control of the plane as a co-pilot. But the plane has some downsides. While the powerful engines makes it one of the fastest planes around, it does not change the fact that the plane is very heavy and large, making it slow at turning and leaving bad visibility to the right side of the plane because of the tandem fuselage. It is also a little difficult to land and take off with so mostly well trained or elites are only allowed to fly the Muscovy.
Mi-12 "Barracuda" Strike Helicopter: The Mi-12 is a heavy armed attack helicopter with the capability to transport a limited ammount of troops into combat which is why its designated as a Strike Helicopter instead. It can be armed with many weapons but the standard armament is 1x 23mm autocannon turret in the front underside, one defensive ball turret in the back that is lowered when in the air armed with 2x 14,5mm heavy machineguns and it can also mount 2x 7.62mm miniguns on the sides of the transport compartment for door gunners to man and an additional 2x 14.5mm machineguns mounted in small windows a little further forward in the compartment and on small weapon wings on the sides different weapons are also usually mounted, from rockets, anti-tank missiles, jamming pods, gun-pods and air-to-air missiles. The helo has three crewmembers, 1x pilot, 1x gunner and another gunner for the ball turret. The two crewmembers in the main cockpit can both take control of the helicopter. The pilot's job is mostly just focus on flying the helicopter while the main gunner handles all the weapons. The back gunner just mans his turret and provides cover fire. The Mi-12 has a reputation for being very difficult to fly, even for experienced pilots, but it is also known to be the favorite vehicle of any pilot good enough to handle it with them often describing it as it feeling like they are riding a storm. The powerful engine and relatively small frame for being so heavily armed gives it immense agility but it is just that which makes it so hard to fly. Its so sensitive and powerful most pilots just can handle it. But those who manage to tame the Barracuda can become lighting quick chariots of death upon the battlefield, sending fire everywhere arround it as it races around.
